Director Jon Favreau has revealed a few more details about the unfolding Marvel film universe and it seems that Tony Stark will not be popping up in Marvel's next two movies. MTV Splash Page is reporting that Favreau gave an interview with the LA radio station KROQ where Favreau confirmed that Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark won't have any cameos in Thor and Captain America: The First Avenger. Here's an excerpt from his interview.

"[Downey's] not in Thor, he's not in Cap which are the two movies for next Summer," said Favreau. "It'll be very interesting to see how the Marvel Universe branches off. All of these movies are going to be taken into account for The Avengers in two years."

"I'm not sure where The Avengers goes. There is no shooting draft written yet. It's gonna be a big undertaking for Marvel to actually incorporate what happened in Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America: The First Avenger and The Incredible Hulk. All that has to inform one unified vision in The Avengers. It's a very exciting prospect. And certainly, Tony Stark is not going to be involved in any of the movies until that one."

We'll be sure to keep you posted with any further details on any of the upcoming films in the Marvel universe as soon as we have more information.
