Tracy Morgan is in critical condition this morning after a six-car pile-up on the New Jersey Turnpike, leaving one person dead and several others injured.

The former 30 Rock star and Saturday Night Live cast member was riding in a limo bus with several others, when a tractor-trailer smashed into its backside, overturning the vehicle. The tractor-trailer also hit four other slower moving vehicles. The limo bus was the only vehicle to overturn, and one of the passengers inside passed away from the impact.

As of right now, Tracy Morgan's condition is not expected to change. He is joined by his family at the hospital, where he is reportedly receiving excellent care.

Sgt. Gregory Williams of the New Jersey State Police explains that the accident happened in Robbinsville, in Mercer County. This is what he had to say at the scene,

"The limo bus is the only vehicle that overturned. Looks like one of the tractor-trailers may have rear-ended that limo bus, but that's preliminary at this time."

The sergeant does not believe alcohol played a role in the accident, but it is now under investigation. In addition to the over-turned Limo bus, the accident also involved a second tractor-trailer and an SUV.

Police have identified the man who was killed in the accident as James McNair, 63, of Peekskill, New York. Four others are currently being treated at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, with three in critical condition and one in fair condition.

Friday night, Tracy Morgan was performing a comedy tour act at the Dover Downs Hotel & Casino in Dover, Delaware. Ardie Fuqua was the opening act, and was actually in the limo with Tracy Morgan, posting the following photos 30 minutes before the accident. His condition is not known, and its possible that he had gotten out of the limo before the wreck. These are photos he posted on Facebook:
