The CineEurope conference is currently happening in Spain, where Paramount Pictures International svp, EMEA Edward Ryan announced the impending Paramount release slate for both 2015 and 2016.

While we knew that some of these film's were heading our way soon, it came as a surprise that Transformers 5 was announced for 2016, when it was previously set for release in 2017. This new announcement also confirms that G.I. Joe 3 will be in theaters the same year, and is not being delayed as some had previously thought. Though Paranormal Activity 5 is being pushed back even further than originally planned, from 2013 all the way to 2016. Both 2015 and 2016 promise to be big years for Paramount.

Here is what they have set up at this time (the schedule is subject to change):

Paramount Release Slate 2015

The Spongebob Movie: Sponge Out of Water 3D

Hot Tub Time Machine 2

The Gambler

Project Almanac

Terminator

Paramount Release Slate 2016

G.I. Joe 3

Star Trek 3

Paranormal Activity 5

While at CineEurope, Paramount showed Transformers: Age of Extinction in lieu of its world premier in Hong Kong tomorrow. They also brought a ReadD 3D clip from Hercules starring Dwayne Johnson, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles star Megan Fox introduced new footage via a special video taped message. The scene shown sets up April O'Neil's first meeting with the four mutant turtle brothers. A sizzle reel for producer Michael Bay's found footage time travel thriller Project Almanac was also screened.
