Transformers: Dark of the Moon plot revealed Random House revealed the synopsis for Peter David's novelization of Transformers: Dark of the Moon which gives more glimpses into the upcoming film's plot:

"ONE SMALL STEP FOR MAN . . .

All humankind was watching that fateful day in 1969. But only a handful knew the real mission behind America's triumph in space. Now the treacherous Decepticons have set their sights on unearthing government secrets. The only hope of averting a crisis rests on the Autobots-yet who knows what remains in the shadows, hidden from man and machine?"

The 400-page paperback book goes on sale May 24.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon was released June 29th, 2011.

      I still think they should have itroduced constructicons or beast machines, even though (yes) beast machines is too far into the future.

                I am personally loving the new cast additions.

                ....aside from the new female lead as i know next to nothing about her or how talented an actress she is. We shall see.

                  @smallville I have been saying that same thing for many years along with countless others but its not going to happen under Bay. At least we have the 80's animated movie.

                  @daveactor7 i'm curious to know why you think its an epic fail if the decepticons want to learn what we know about the mission on the moon.

                  @mosorwvlad pretty much every major motion picture, especially those with large following have novelizations, its nothing new. I wont be picking it up but i bet there are die hard fans that will read it before they see the movie.
