Transformers: Dark of the Moon to Release June 29th

Michael Bay's robotic action pic moves up two days from its previously scheduled release date of July 1st.

Paramount Pictures has bumped up the release date for Michael Bay's Transformers: Dark of the Moon from Friday, July 1st to Wednesday, June 29th.

The film is rated PG-13 for "intense prolonged sequences of sci-fi action violence, mayhem and destruction, and for language, some sexuality and innuendo."

In Transformers: Dark of the Moon, the Autobots and Decepticons become involved in a perilous space race between the U.S. and Russia, and once again human Sam Witwicky has to come to the aid of his robot friends.
