i dont c anything good about this film other than its special effects. I know such a movie goes way back but it looks like a big bore. its gonna b 1 of those popcorn flicks with big visual effects. hi-flying, chase..cat & mouse...but thats all. I hope it does'nt take place in the game thru out the whole movie, 90 mins of video game theme, psh. 90% of movies i watch have CGI and effects in them, but its not like they take place in a blk zone like this movie does. I hope the story is 100% good cause it will suck. other than its cool visuals.

@Narzion and @Marin010 Look, I'm just judging on what I've seen thus far. It could be amazing and way better then the small clips and trailers I've seen. I'm just saying, the visuals are most likely going to be dominant, with story second. But who knows, maybe they'll be equal in the end.

@Supes tron legacy producer asked brad bird and michael arndt (oscar winning toy story 3 writer) to contribute to the story - sound more impressive than james cameron writing skills

@Supes Actually I think Avatar had a weak story, but this instead, I heard that it is not quite what the trailer says. In terms that Kevin Flynn is going to die at the end by the hand of Clu to save his Son, Sam, and Sam tries to pull out of the Grid, Quorra, but when she gets out, she disintegrates and dies, but later he finds her user, and you know how the users look like, just like their programs. But this is just a rumor I heard.

The first didn't exactly have an amazing story either, so I won't expect one with this :P

This year's Avatar. It'll be pretty visuals, maybe a booming, hip soundtrack, but I'm guessing the script will be weak, and it won't have any type of real depth to it. Least that's my guess.
