An edgy, contemporary spin-off of the iconic drama Beverly Hills, 90210, the new 90210 looks at life through the eyes of Annie Wilson and her brother, Dixon, whose first day at West Beverly Hills High School leaves no doubt they're not in Kansas anymore.
“We're Not in Kansas Anymore”
In part one of the series premiere, Harrison Wilson accepts the position as Principal of West Beverly Hills High, forcing the Wilson family to relocate from Kansas to California and adjust to new life in the city - all while keeping a close watch on their alcoholic grandmother, fading Hollywood actress Tabitha Wilson.
“The Jet Set”
In part two of the series premiere, Naomi finds herself in trouble when she fails an assignment and Ryan and Kelly bring the issue to Harry's attention. Meanwhile, Dixon must deal with jealous teammates in the lacrosse team and Annie meets a potential love interest.
Harry and Debbie plan a family bowling night, but find their plans interrupted by the unexpected arrival of Annie and Dixon's friends. Meanwhile, Annie finds herself torn between Ethan and Ty, Naomi experiences a difficult evening with her father, and Kelly and Silver learn that Jackie's drinking is beginning to spiral out of control.
Annie, Harry, and Debbie are surprised to find out that West Beverly's theater director can't direct the school musical anymore. Kelly persuades Brenda to take over as the play's director, but they end up arguing over Kelly's involvement with Ryan. Meanwhile, Dixon tries to get a part-time job at the Peach Pit and Naomi confronts her father's mistress.
“Wide Awake and Dreaming”
As the opening night of the school play "Spring Awakening" approaches, Ty reveals to Annie his plans for a one-on-one after party in his hotel room with her. Others at school are concerned about how fast Annie and Ty's relationship is developing. Meanwhile, Naomi won't accept her parents' divorce and Adrianna is confronted about a substance abuse problem, giving Annie the chance to play the lead in the musical.
After Debbie gets the chance to shoot a fashion show for Nylon Magazine, Annie uses the opportunity to her advantage for a class assignment. Naomi believes the upcoming fashion show could help her parents' marital mess, but it only makes matters worse. Ty and Annie's relationship is put to the test when Adrianna reveals a secret. Meanwhile, Kelly receives a phone call that may change her relationship with Ryan.
Annie (Shenae Grimes) and Ethan (Dustin Milligan) are paired up to take care of a baby as part of a class project and the experience causes them to see each other in a new light. Silver (Jessica Stroup) and Dixon (Tristan Wilds) continue to get closer and during her half-birthday party at the Hollywood Forever Cemetary, she opens him up to an entirely new experience in public. Harry (Rob Estes) and Debbie (Lori Loughlin) are forced to deal with his past when Tracy (guest star Christina Moore) informs Harry that she hired a private investigator to search for their son, who was given up for adoption many years ago. Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) is desperate to intervene with Adrianna’s (guest star Jessica Lowndes) downward drug spiral but regrets making one last-minute decision. Ryan (Ryan Eggold) is dealing with Kelly’s (guest star Jennie Garth) departure and decides to try online dating in an effort to hide his true feelings about her absence. Michael Steger and Jessica Walter also star. Norman Buckley directed the episode written by Caprice Crane.
“There's No Place Like Homecoming”
Annie (Shenae Grimes) prepares for her driver’s test and works out a plan with Ethan (Dustin Milligan) so they can attend the Homecoming dance without officially making it a date. Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes) confesses about her drug use, effectively clearing Naomi’s (AnnaLynne McCord) name, and is forced to check into rehab for her addiction. With no one left to turn to, Adrianna finds Navid (Michael Steger) by her side, determined to help her through her pain. At the dance, Ryan (Ryan Eggold) catches Kimberly (guest star Jessica Lucas) buying drugs from a student but is even more surprised to learn that she is an undercover cop. After a conversation with Tabitha (Jessica Walter), Debbie (Lori Loughlin) confronts Tracy (guest star Christina Moore) about her inappropriate behavior towards Harry (Rob Estes), and despite her root canal pain, Silver (Jessica Stroup) and Dixon (Tristan Wilds) dance the night away. “Secrets and Lies”
Silver invites a few of her female friends over for a girls' night, but the event quickly turns into a house party. Meanwhile, Debbie and Harry finally reveal to Dixon and Annie that they have an older brother who was given up for adoption long ago.
“Games People Play”
Kelly returns to Beverly Hills, revealing what happened between her and Dylan during her trip. Meanwhile, Annie turns sixteen and gets a surprising gift from Naomi. Also, the Wilson family receives a visit from Harry's biological son, Sean.
“That Which We Destroy”
Brenda and Kelly's friendship takes a turn for the worse. Meanwhile, Sean moves in with the Wilson family, Naomi hangs with a new crowd, and Silver becomes jealous when a cheerleader pays a little too much attention to Dixon.
“Hello, Goodbye, Amen”
When Debbie (Lori Loughlin), Harry (Rob Estes), Annie (Shenae Grimes), Dixon (Tristan Wilds) and Sean (guest star Josh Henderson) spend the evening playing games, Annie overhears a phone call with Sean that raises suspicion. Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes) invites Brenda (Shannen Doherty) to attend a support day at her rehab center, but the day quickly turns upside down when Adrianna learns information that will cause her life to change forever. Brenda and Kelly (Jennie Garth) stand by Adrianna’s side and Brenda reveals a secret she has been hiding from Kelly. Dixon and Christina’s (guest star Lauren London) friendship continues to grow when she invites him over to her house, an invitation he hides from Silver (Jessica Stroup).
“Love Me or Leave Me”
When it comes to parenting, Debbie (Lori Loughlin) and Tabitha (Jessica Walter) don’t see eye-to-eye and their personalities continue to clash when Tabitha surprises Annie (Shenae Grimes) and Dixon (Tristan Wilds) with a new car. Ethan (Dustin Milligan) and Annie sneak away to Tabitha’s house in Palm Springs for some alone time and take full advantage of being on their own. Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes) opens up to Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) about her secret and they immediately become friends again but Navid (Michael Steger) isn’t quite sure how to handle the news. Silver (Jessica Stroup) and Dixon hit the beach for a day in the sun and decide to make a sand castle but don’t anticipate the tsunami headed their way when Dixon reveals three little words.
Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes) comes to terms with her decision about her baby and leans on Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) and Kelly (Jennie Garth) for support while also revealing the baby’s daddy. Ethan (Dustin Milligan) helps Annie (Shenae Grimes) rehearse her lines to prepare to audition for the new school play and both are taken back when they learn that Ty (guest star Adam Gregory) is also auditioning. Ryan (Ryan Eggold) returns to West Bev with a new perspective and has an unpleasant encounter with Silver (Jessica Stroup) and Kelly (Jennie Garth). Dixon (Tristan Wilds) turns to Debbie (Lori Loughlin) for some advice to help his relationship with Silver.
“Help Me, Rhonda”
Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes) reveals her pregnancy to the baby’s father and is shocked by his parents’ handling of the situation. Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) stands by Adrianna’s side while they devise a plan to break the pregnancy news to Adrianna’s mother, Constance (guest star Maeve Quinlan, “The Bold and the Beautiful”). Annie (Shenae Grimes) and Ethan (Dustin Milligan) are still shaken from his accident but their relationship becomes strained when he starts spending a lot of time with Rhonda (guest star Aimee Teegarden, “Friday Night Lights”). Silver (Jessica Stroup) confronts Dixon (Tristan Wilds) and tells him the words he has been longing to hear.
“Of Heartbreaks and Hotels”
Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord), comfortable with her new living situation, is immediately taken by Liam (guest star Matt Lanter, “Heroes”), a hot bartender at her hotel. Sparks begin to fly between the two but Naomi is confused by the mystery that surrounds Liam. Silver (Jessica Stroup) gets extremely upset when her surprise Valentine’s Day dinner for Dixon (Tristan Wilds) doesn’t go as planned, but the two find a way to make the date a moment to remember. Annie (Shenae Grimes) becomes increasingly jealous of Ethan (Dustin Milligan) and Rhonda’s (Aimee Teegarden) close connection and takes advantage of information about Rhonda’s past in order to benefit herself, causing Ethan to confront her about her terrible actions. Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes) doesn’t have a date for the dance and decides to spend the night loading up on chocolate, until she hears a surprise knock on her door.
“Life's A Drag”
Liam displays his dark side to Naomi, who is stunned but captivated by the intense, handsome bad-boy. Meanwhile, Annie spends a drunken evening under the stars with fellow thespian Max.
“Off the Rails”
Silver, distraught from all the recent video commotion, disappears. Kelly enlists Ryan's help in finding her sister, but cannot seem to figure out why she is acting so emotionally. Meanwhile, Dixon breaks the video news to Debbie and Harry, and Navid and Adrianna get a preview of parenthood when they babysit Sammy.
Kelly (Jennie Garth) and Silver (Jessica Stroup) are surprised when Donna (guest star Tori Spelling) shows up at their door, straight off a plane from Japan. Annie (Shenae Grimes) and Dixon (Tristan Wilds) decide to spend their spring break on a road trip to visit someone from Dixon’s past, while Ethan (Dustin Milligan) decides to step out of his bubble and volunteer with Habitat for Humanity. Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) joins the Habitat build after learning that Liam (Matt Lanter) is also attending, but is clearly out of her comfort zone. While Kelly and Donna are dining on sushi, Diablo Cody (guest starring as herself) convinces Donna to design a dress for her for a red carpet event. “Between a Sign and a Hard Place”
Donna faces a heartbreaking dilemma when she must choose between returning to her life with David in Japan, or moving back to Beverly Hills with their daughter, Ruby. Meanwhile, Silver's recent issues are the major topic of conversation at school, and Annie and Naomi make a decision about their friendship. Also, Ethan continues on his recent downward spiral due to Liam's bad influence, and Adrianna and Navid meet with potential adoptive parents for the baby.
“The Dionysian Debacle”
Naomi's older sister, Jen, unexpectedly returns to Beverly Hills. Meanwhile, Naomi persuades Annie to go on a double date, and Adrianna and Navid reveal their decision to his parents.
“The Party's Over”
Following their engagement, Navid and Adrianna celebrate their respective bachelor and bachelorette parties. While Adrianna feasts with friends and family at the Wilson home, Navid and the boys spend a wild night with college girls at a burlesque club. Meanwhile, sparks fly between Ryan and Jen, and Dixon continues to feel unappreciated by Silver.
West Bev’s Hollywood-themed prom is full of surprises, but first Harry (Rob Estes) warns his students that any non-school sponsored parties after the prom will be met with serious consequences.
“One Party Can Ruin Your Whole Summer”
Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes) and Navid (Michael Steger) spend their prom night in the delivery room and Brenda (Shannen Doherty) shows up to offer support.
