Netflix Extends Disney ABC Contract

Hot on the heels of this morning's that Amazon Prime has made a deal with Disney-ABC TV, Netflix has announced that they have extended their license agreement with ABC Television Group, enabling them to continue streaming previously run seasons of popular ABC, ABC Family, and Disney Channel programming.

With this extension comes a slew of new, previously unavailable series from the Disney-ABC library, including Kick Buttowski: Suburban Daredevil, Alias, and Switched at Birth.

Is ABC Bringing Back ‘Alias’ for a Reboot? It seems that ABC is entering into early discussions to reboot a popular 2001 J.J. Abrams series. According to E! Online, ABC is considering bringing back Alias for a series reboot.

There aren't many details on the new reboot as of yet, but it was said that the new series would, "borrow some elements of the original series," and would likely not contain the more mystical storylines of the original series, such as the Rambaldi prophecy.

Anna Torv Is on the ‘Fringe’!

Anna Torv has signed on to star in Fringe, the new J.J. Abrams sci-fi drama coming from the Fox network. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Abrams' claims Torv to be his latest discovery, the others being Keri Russell on Felicity, Jennifer Garner on Alias and Evangeline Lilly on Lost.

Fox has not yet announced when the two-hour pilot of Fringe will air.
