Family has a way of surprising you, and the dysfunctional Walker clan is no exception as each sibling is about to enter a new stage in their lives. They work hard to keep secrets but soon everything becomes a family matter.
The Walkers go to the beach for a family vacation but things turn ugly; meanwhile, Kevin arranges a getaway weekend for him and Scotty but things take a turn when a face from the past contacts him. Trouble awaits the Walkers as one gets fired and one gets blackmaile
Tensions rise between Kevin and Nora; meanwhile Holly entrusts Rebecca with full access to her two million dollar trust which makes Rebecca question her mothers motive. Kitty & McCallister meet with a social worker who then joins them for a 'typical' Walker dinner. Holly begins to investigate a former Walker's 'Secret'!
“Tug of War”
Two Walkers leave Ojai Foods. While on a dinner with Justin and a fellow soldier, Rebecca begins to question Justin's Sobriety as he does not mention anything about his time in Iraq. Kevin faces uncomfortable questions from a very important client and the clients wife; meanwhile, Nora finds herself drawn to someone.
“Everything Must Go”
Nora prepares for her new charity venture by making a clean sweep of all of William's belongings; a time capsule brings together two estranged siblings; Robert interviews candidates to fill Kitty's very big shoes, and Holly begins her own investigation into the whereabouts of William's lost son.

Rebecca's trust in her mother is put to the test when she discovers something about Holly; Kevin meets his conservative Scotty's parent

Kevin overcompensate for his recent pay cut by buying a dream house for Scotty. Justin attempts to play matchmaker for Saul.
Nora recruits the family to deconstract her new charity money pit; Kitty & Robert take a huge & overwhelming step in adoptian, Sarah takes a big risk with her new business partners by eating crows; Holly pushes Tommy to his limits when she does something in the whinery without his consult.

The Walkers encounter some scheduling conflicts on Thanksgiving, leaving Nora and Sarah to celebrate alone, until Elizabeth endures a medical emergency that brings the family together.

Elizabeth's illness and her uncle's sacrifice cause a volatile and emotional confrontation between Kevin and Tommy that could make or break their relationship as brothers. Meanwhile, Saul reintroduces a high school crush (guest starring Nigel Havers as Roger Grant) to Nora, and Justin finally decides to leave the nest.
Kitty goes public with her tell-all book on an appearance on "Live with Regis & Kelly" (guest starring Regis and Kelly as themselves), but suspects that Robert is keeping a very big secret. Meanwhile, Sarah runs into some serious financial trouble that could keep Greenatopia from making it off the ground, and Tommy allies with Saul to push Holly out of the family business.
“It's Not Easy Being Green”
Just as Greenatopia gets the green light, Sarah's business partner breaks some startling personal news. Meanwhile, Nora rekindles a romance with an old flame.
Rebecca's loyalties between Holly and the Walkers become more divided than ever when she discovers Tommy's plan to drive her mother out of the family business. Meanwhile Nora gets a surprise phone call from an important person in William's past.

Nora decides it's time that she connect in-person with Ryan, Rebecca disappears to find her father in New York, and Tommy's plan to get regain control over Ojai Foods hits a major road block.

Even in the wake of a life threatening medical crisis and the excitement surrounding the birth of his son, Robert remains steadfast in his drive to run for governor, despite the damage that it may do to his marriage. Meanwhile, Saul and Sarah go to extremes to hide Tommy's legal troubles from Nora, and Ryan gets a bit too close too fast for anyone's good.
Kevin and Justin take Tommy on a getaway to help him make a decision about his legal future. Meanwhile, Kitty and Evan retreat to Nora's to get acquainted with her new half brother.
Desperate to get through to Tommy before his legal troubles worsen, Nora reaches out for help to the person whom he hurt most deeply. Meanwhile, Ryan Lafferty gets a bit too close to Rebecca for Justin's comfort.
The Walkers keep up hope that Tommy will return home when Holly considers dropping the charges. Meanwhile Sarah makes yet another major career change, Kitty questions whether or not her marriage will survive, and Kevin and Scotty consider a surprising proposal from Chad (guest starring Jason Lewis).
Out of patience waiting for Tommy to return home, Julia makes a life-changing decision about the future, Robert discovers what Kitty has been keeping from him, and Holly and Sarah finally find balance in their relationship.

When Kitty and Robert reach a crossroads in their marriage, she is forced to reflect on her father's (guest starring Tom Skerritt as William Walker) past indiscretions and decide what's most important in life. Meanwhile, Ryan makes a discovery about his mother's death and takes a huge leap in the wrong direction to vie for Rebecca's affection.
When the Walker family reaches out to Tommy, they're devastated to find that he may be unwilling to accept their help. Meanwhile, Robert and Kitty reach a crossroads in their marriage that they may not be able to successfully navigate; Justin makes plans for the future, with or without Rebecca; and Saul makes a shocking admission about Ryan Lafferty's mother.
