This Stripes-inspired comedy is about a group of misfits attending the Greendale Community College. The focus group of the Community is lead by a lawyer with a revoked degree. Community is a production of Krasnoff Foster Entertainment, Harmonious Claptrap and Russo Brothers production in association with Sony Pictures Television and Universal Media Studios.
While no specifics were given, it was also confirmed at the panel that Season 6 will feature another paintball episode. The show's first paintball episode, "Modern Warfare" happened at the end of Season 1, with the Season 2 finale split into two paintball episodes, "A Fist Full of Paintballs" and "For a Few Paintballs More". There was also a brief paintball moment in the Season 3 episode "Curriculum Unavailable", but that was the last time the game showed up in the series.
Dan Harmon also teased surprise guest stars, but wouldn't reveal their identities at this time. What do you think about these new developments? Chime in with your thoughts below, and visit Yahoo! Screen to watch the first two episodes from Season 6 of Community.Read More
Exactly two weeks before the final season of Community kicks off on its new online home at Yahoo! Screen, we finally have the first trailer for Season 6. The footage clearly pays homage to Avengers: Age of Ultron, touting "allies" including new cast members Keith David as Elroy Patashnik, a retired scientist who joins the Greendale study group, and even a new educational format, with local prisoners "attending" classes at Greendale via Skype.
There will be plenty of changes in store for the community college thanks to the addition of Paget Brewster, who plays Francesca "Frankie" Dart, a consultant brought in to help whip Greendale into shape. Season 6 will be missing a few familiar faces though, with Yvette Nicole Brown leaving the show to take care of her ailing father, and Season 5 star Jonathan Banks also not returning, due to his commitment to AMC's Better Call Saul.Read More
Take a look at this trailer, which will be quite familiar to fans of The Six Million Dollar Man, then read on for more information.
While the show does feature footage from all five seasons, you'll notice that there is only one scene for Season 4, which shows the students suffering from a "gas leak." That season was the only one without series creator Dan Harmon, and when he was brought back for Season 5, the "gas leak" was given as the reason why everyone wasn't acting quite the same as previous years.Read More
In classic Community fashion, i.e., right at the last minute, the cancelled NBC sitcom was rescued by Yahoo! Screen for Season 6, fulfilling the promise of "six seasons and a movie." One of the names most notably absent in last month's announcement was Donald Glover, whose character, Troy Barnes, set sail on a trip around the world last season, as a provision of Pierce Hawthorne's (Chevy Chase) will.
While Troy never resurfaced in Season 5, many fans noticed an Easter Egg during another episode, where a TV in the background revealed that the boat Troy and LeVar Burton (as himself) were sailing on, was captured by pirates in the Gulf of Mexico.Read More
He added that series creator Dan Harmon and writer/executive producer Chris McKenna are planning to make an "epic" movie that won't be "like an episode," although the actor doesn't believe the script is being written at this time.
When you use the words "epic" and Community in the same sentence, many fans think of the infamous paintball episodes, the first of which, Season 1's "Modern Warfare", was directed by Justin Lin (Fast & Furious 6). We reported in March that Justin Lin was being considered to direct the movie, but obviously nothing is set in stone at this time.Read More

"Six seasons and a movie" has been Community fans' rallying cry ever since Abed (Danny Pudi) uttered that now-famous line in a Season 2 episode, while referencing NBC's short-lived series The Cape. But will the movie actually happen? As NBC executives currently mull the fate of Community's sixth and final season, TV Guide reports that Justin Lin (Fast Five, Fast & Furious 6) is being eyed to direct the feature.
Nothing is set in stone at this time, but the directorial choice would make sense, since Justin Lin directed three Season 1 episodes, the popular "paintball" episode "Modern Warfare", "Interpretive Dance" and "Introduction to Statistics".Read More
