Community - Season 3
Jeff gets kicked out of the group's Biology class by their reformed prisoner teacher. Pierce who was out of the group takes Jeff's spot and gets reinstated. Jeff can't get back into the class and slowly starts to go crazy without the study group. Eventually he takes the high road and allows Pierce to keep his spot in the class and vows to get back into the class and into the group on his own merits.
Season Premiere! The GCC gang reunites to find out if Pierce is coming back to Greendale. John Goodman guest stars!

A Model UN competition introduces Annie to a new frenemy, while Britta goes head to head with Campus Security Officer Chang!
While the gang pairs off to build a terrarium, Chang relishes his imaginary role as a noir detective.

Jeff is debilitated by his narcissism, which skyrockets when his confidence is boosted by anti-anxiety medication and regular visits to a shrink. Elsewhere, the gang try to help Abed pay off his debt from a celebrity-impersonator habit by performing at a Bar Mitzvah celebration.

Part 1 of 2. A sandwich shop opens in the cafeteria, drawing the ire of Shirley, Pierce and Britta, who scheme to close the place down; Laybourne tries again to convince Troy to join him; and Abed and Troy battle over competing blanket forts.
“Pillows and Blankets (2)”
What started as a casual disagreement about blankets and pillows blossoms into all-our war on the Greendale campus. While insults are hurled and the study group chooses sides, Jeff (Joel McHale) tries desperately to negotiate a truce, but with neither Abed (Danny Pudi) nor Troy (Donald Glover) budging on their principles or their real estate, the future looks grim for the former best friends.
“Origins of Vampire Mythology”
When Britta's (Gillian Jacobs) old flame "Blade" (Kirk Fox, "Parks and Recreation") returns to town with the traveling carnival, she confesses to the group that she needs their help to stay away from him. While Annie (Alison Brie), Troy (Donald Glover) and Abed (Danny Pudi) scheme to keep her occupied and away from Blade, Jeff (Joel McHale) and Shirley (Yvette Nicole Brown) head to the carnival to get a look at the mystery man. Meanwhile, Dean Laybourne (guest star John Goodman) enlists the help of Dean Pelton (Jim Rash) to convince Troy to join the Air Conditioning Repair Annex.
“Virtual Systems Analysis”
When the biology final exam is postponed, Jeff (Joel McHale) encourages everyone to join him for a three hour lunch, but Annie (Alison Brie) convinces Abed (Danny Pudi) to let her spend some time with him in the dreamatorium instead. What starts as an innocent simulation of "Inspector Spacetime" becomes a more serious examination of the study group members and Annie learns a little bit about what makes Abed tick.
“Basic Lupine Urology”
When Annie (Alison Brie) discovers the study group's yam experiment smashed to smithereens on the science lab floor, the group mobilizes to expose the criminal and save their grade. Once Abed (Danny Pudi) and Troy (Donald Glover) think they have located the perpetrator, the group conducts a "trial," with a reluctant Professor Kane (guest star Michael K. Williams) serving as judge. Jeff (Joel McHale) soon realizes, however, that the plot is thicker than anyone suspects.

As the study group comes to terms with the death of a beloved classmate, Jeff (Joel McHale) easily adjusts, while Britta (Gillian Jacobs) acts as grief counselor to the rest, employing what she's learned in her psychology class. Meanwhile, Chang (Ken Jeong) is on a mission to increase his policing powers at the school and when the memorial service disintegrates into a riot, he seizes the opportunity to take more control over campus security.
Abed (Danny Pudi) becomes convinced that there is a conspiracy afoot and that Dean Pelton is an imposter. When Abed is apprehended sneaking around on campus, he is required to see a therapist, Dr. Heidi (guest star John Hodgman, "The Daily Show"), or risk being sent to jail.
“Digital Estate Planning”
Pierce is summoned to Hawthorne Enterprises to discuss his inheritance with his deceased father's former right-hand man.
“The First Chang Dynasty”
With Chang (Ken Jeong) in control of Greendale, the study group develops an elaborate plan to infiltrate the campus without being detected. While Chang becomes distracted planning a big birthday bash for himself, Jeff (Joel McHale) and the study group launch their sneak attack. Meanwhile, Troy (Donald Glover) enlists the help of the Air Conditioning Repair Annex to help with their break-in plan but knows he may be selling his soul to the devil.
“Introduction To Finality”
When Shirley (Yvette Nicole Brown) and Pierce (Chevy Chase) have a disagreement over their sandwich shop, Jeff (Joel McHale) agrees to argue on Shirley's behalf but much to his chagrin, Pierce retains Jeff's former colleague Alan Connor (guest star Rob Corddry, "Hot Tub Time Machine") and the two must square off in "Greendale Summer Fun Court." Meanwhile, Vice Dean Laybourne (guest star John Goodman) makes one last ditch effort to win Troy (Donald Glover) over to his Air Conditioning Repair Annex.
