When Donald Duck decides to join the Navy, he leaves his nephews, Huey, Dewey and Louie, in the care of his cantankerous Uncle Scrooge. He is an eccentric and miserly billionare who loves to literally swim in his money that is held in his corporate headquarters/vault known as the Money Bin. While the initial meeting was less than pleasant, events soon have them, along with a newly hired nanny, her daughter and Scrooge's stupid but skilled pilot, on countless adventures as the group goes around the world looking for treasure, or defending Scrooge's current assets from enemies like the Beagle Boys or Magica De Spell.

There have been rumors that Channing Tatum is being sought to headline a new Ghostbusters that is reportedly being developed separately from director Paul Feig's all-female Ghostbusters reboot. While we may never know if Channing Tatum's Ghostbusters is happening or not, Mashed has debuted a new animated video that features Channing Tatum as the new Ghostbusters leader, who bosses around the original characters. They even have the late Harold Ramis' Egon Spengler as a ghost himself, along with references to horror movies such as The Ring, Alien, The Human Centipede (First Sequence) and Saw. Though it first debuted in 1987, DuckTales went onto garner a huge fan base that encompassed all age groups as it continued to run throughout the 90s in syndication. With 90s nostalgia in full swing, the official Disney Blog Oh My Disney! has decided to recreate the opening theme song sequence with real live ducks...And it's pretty amazing. If seeing Scrooge McDuck and his grandnephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie in the flesh doesn't make you smile, then nothing probably ever will. Check out this inspired moment of fun.

DuckTales premiered on September 18, 1987 and ended on November 28, 1990 with a total of three seasons and 100 episodes. An animated theatrical spin-off film based on the series,DuckTales: The Movie - Treasure of The Lost Lamp, was released August 3, 1990.
