“Nine is Enough”
The Conner clan becomes larger times one: Roseanne announces that she's pregnant again! With the house becoming more crowded by the minute, Dan and Roseanne argue over giving Becky and Mark their walking papers. Jackie and Fred squabble about sleeping arrangements for the new baby, and, Dan is embarrassed about having to shave his armpits!
“Two for One”
Roseanne and Dan suffer from pregnancy jitters. Meanwhile, Roseanne accidentally uncovers Darlene's dark secret - she's having an affair.
“Snoop Davey Dave”
There's a snitch in the Conner household. Upset over their recent breakup, David tattles on Darlene. And, to Roseanne's horror, she finds out that Darlene is experimenting with drugs!
When Jackie spills the news that Becky and Mark are having sexual problems, Roseanne steps in to solve their dilemma. The situation snowballs when the men realize that no subject is sacred when it comes to their gossiping wives!
Which one of the married Conner women did David have a sexy dream about? There is a flurry of activity to figure out the "who" and the "why."
“Skeleton in the Closet”
It's Roseanne's favorite holiday, Halloween, and Leon's planning a "gay" soiree at the diner. During the party, Roseanne is horrified to learn about a dark secret in Fred's past. The usual pranks abound as everyone tries to out-spook each other - to an unusual, surprise conclusion.
“Follow the Son”
D.J. is growing up, and Roseanne is having trouble loosening the apron strings. Meanwhile, David is stunned to find that Darlene's planning to move in with her new boyfriend, Jimmy.
“Punch and Jimmy”
After D.J. gets pushed around by the town bully, Dan steps in to teach him the basics of self-defense. Recently dumped by Darlene, David is acting strange -- possibly compensating for a shattered ego. Surprisingly, Dan learns that David's new "manly" interests are really attempts to bond with him. And, Roseanne and Jackie travel to Darlene's apartment for an unexpected visit...to scrutinize her new boyfriend, Jimmy.
“White Men Can't Kiss”
When D.J. refuses to kiss a black girl in the school play, Dan broods over the source of D.J.'s racist attitudes. To everyone's surprise, Fred develops a close friendship with his mother-in-law, Bev. Is there an alternate side to Bev's personality that her children don't know about?
It's a typical Conner Thanksgiving - football, feasting, flaring tempers and an unexpected guest, Nana Mary's new husband. All the while, Roseanne and Dan anxiously await the results from her prenatal test and learn that something may be wrong with the baby.
Waiting for the prenatal test results leave Roseanne and Dan in a panic. Emotions run high as Roseanne mulls over her pregnancy options and consequently excludes Dan from any paternal involvement.
“The Parenting Trap”
D.J.'s fallen behind the learning curve at school and may require "special" classes. Incredulous, Roseanne attempts to monopolize the situation, angering Dan. As a parent, he's repeatedly feeling shut out. To placate Dan, Roseanne acquiesces, asking him to tackle the problem. Meanwhile, home for Christmas, Darlene discovers that David's new girlfriend isn't the only girl he finds attractive.
Gazing out the rear window, Dan is mesmerized by a spectacle. A geriatric couple with a penchant for nudity has moved in next door. And Dan's not the only Conner getting "an eye full." After learning that D.J. also has a room with a view, Roseanne invites their new neighbors over for a friendly heart-to-heart talk. In the meantime, a jealous argument erupts between Becky and Darlene...has Becky become too friendly with David?
“My Name is Bev”
Bev's thrown in jail for drinking and driving, and it's up to Roseanne and Jackie to bail her out. However, an apparent lack of judgment isn't Bev's only problem. In a shocking announcement, she admits that she's an alcoholic. Is this the truth or just one of Bev's clever manipulations?
“Bed and Bored”
Feigning illness for preferential treatment, Roseanne claims the doctor has ordered a week of bed rest. However, her grand scheme quickly turns stale when she finds herself bedridden and bored. In another situation, Jackie and Bev have a confrontation that elicits a remarkable confession -- one that Roseanne can't wait to hear.
Fred's unhappy that D.J.'s spending all his spare time at Aunt Jackie's house. Asked to handle the situation, Jackie's torn between loyalties; hurting Roseanne's feelings or abiding by her new husband's wishes. Meanwhile, Darlene and Becky, reconciling their differences, find common ground - their mutual anger toward Roseanne.
Jackie is restless and complains to Fred that their sex life is predictable. Meanwhile, David receives high scores on his college entrance exams. Mark, jealous of his brother, spitefully attempts to foil David's romantic interest in Stacy, the diner's new waitress. Never one to be left out, Roseanne exploits the situation by manipulating David into painting a wall in the diner.
“Single Married Female”
After discovering Jackie cavorting with another man, Dan makes the difficult decision to tell Fred. Ironically, Jackie realizes her wrongdoing in time to catch Fred moving out of the house.
“The Clip Show: All About Rosey (1)”
In these unusual: EPISODEs, we blast to the past and flash to the future to learn "all about Rosey." A pre-adolescent Roseanne and Jackie glimpse future events through a fortune teller's crystal ball. And, on the other end of the time line, an adult manic depressive D.J. remembers snippets of his childhood during a psychiatric appointment. “Husbands and Wives”
Roseanne is up to her usual schemes. First, she cons Darlene out of a portion of her monthly allowance. Then, she plots to reunite Fred and Jackie. There's one glitch -- Jackie's not sure she wants Fred back!
Roseanne and Dan secretly attempt to help Becky and Mark with money after they move into a shabby trailer. A further case for concern is the couple's boozy trailer-park neighbor, Sharon.
“The Blaming of the Shrew”
Dan disapproves of D.J.'s first date, a domineering young girl he's escorting to the school dance. However, Roseanne's fond of the girl's spunky attitude...until she manipulates D.J. into a troubling situation. More upsetting is Jackie's suggestion that D.J.'s attempting to mimic his parents' relationship. In the meantime, Fred and Jackie try to work through their marital problems by visiting a therapist.
“The Birds and the Frozen Bees”
hen D.J. reveals that he can bring frozen bees back to life, Jackie decides to conduct a few experiments of her own. Also, Darlene realizes that she's never stopped loving David, but does she have the guts to confront him with the news?
It's the final months of Roseanne's pregnancy, and she's on a home improvement rampage. Everything must be right for the new baby. So, it's no surprise that Roseanne insists everyone watch only educational programming when the Conners become a Nielsen television research family. And, sadly, Jackie and Fred agree that it's time to call their marriage quits.

Dan's dream of building a boat leads to an: EPISODE full of fantasy and fun -- Gilligan's Island style. Additionally, David graduates high school, and Darlene's unhappy about his summer plans.
