CBS Announces 2010 Fall Premiere Dates

CBS announced today that most of its new and returning series will premiere during the week of Sept. 20, the official start of the 2010-2011 season. The exceptions are Survivor: Nicaragua, which launches a week earlier, and The Good Wife and CSI: Miami, which both debut a week later.

CBS will get an early start on the season with the premiere of Survivor: Nicaragua, the 21st edition of the hit reality series, which launches in its new time period on Wednesday, Sept. 15 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT).

CBS Will Add More Episodes to ‘Rules of Engagement’ and ‘Shark’

CBS has just announced that the network will be producing more episodes of Rules of Engagement and Shark. According to Variety, CBS has asked Fox to produce four more episodes of Shark, the James Woods drama that had been airing on Sunday nights.

CBS has not yet announced when they plan to air the new episodes of Shark or Rules of Engagement.

Heather Locklear to Guest Star on ‘Rules of Engagement’

Actress Heather Locklear (Spin City) will guest star in two episodes of the comedy Rules of Engagement later this season on the CBS Television Network.

In the episodes, Locklear will play Barbara, the sister of Audrey (Megyn Price) who comes to town to visit. During her stay, Barbara announces that her marriage, which Audrey has always idealized, may be over. While Audrey has a difficult time dealing with the news, she is even more surprised to learn that her sister has agreed to go on a date with Russell (David Spade).
