Contestants will travel one of the fastest courses ever assembled on the Race, spanning eight countries in just 21 days. Season 15 also features the quickest elimination in the history of the series, sending one team home before they leave the starting line. Teams fortunate enough to avoid the surprise elimination and compete for the $1 million prize will face the "Switchback."
For the first time in race history, one team, married couple Eric & Lisa, was eliminated at the starting line as the remaining eleven flew to Tokyo, Japan and then Vietnam. Poker players Maria & Tiffany survived a non-elimination round followed by a Speed Bump and on and off couple Garrett & Jessica became the second team eliminated from the race.
Harlem Globetrotters Flight Time & Big Easy scored their first victory of the race as teams traveled to Ho Chi Minh City. Bickering between engaged couple Lance & Keri didn’t help their performance as they finished in ninth place just ahead of dating couple Marcy & Ron who were eliminated from the race.
In a shocking turn of events, best friends Zev & Justin ran a near flawless leg finishing in first place only to realize that they had lost Zev’s passport. Last place poker players Maria & Tiffany dodged another bullet when Zev & Justin couldn’t find their passport and were subsequently eliminated from the race.
In the city of Dubai along the Persian Gulf, dating couple Meghan & Cheyne sped into first place by claiming the Fast Forward. Meanwhile, teams toiled in the blazing desert sun followed by an unexpected chill, and the directionally challenged Lance & Keri were eliminated.
Crippled by a fear of heights and water, Mika refused to go down a waterslide in Dubai even as Canaan begged and pleaded. After a rocky start, Harlem Globetrotters Flight Time & Big Easy seized the opportunity and passed Mika to stay in the race.
Brian & Ericka appeared to be out of the race until Maria & Tiffany, with a sizable lead, couldn’t complete either side of the Detour allowing the married couple to barely survive as the professional poker players quit the race.
The lack of cooperation hinders one team's efforts at an explosive Detour. Also, during the series' first ever "Switchback," Teams return to one of the most infamous Roadblocks in the history of the show.
The racers end up knee-deep in Estonian bogs, and two teams are neck and neck in their race to the pit stop.
Tempers flare when one team goes back on their word and a Team spirals into last place when their taxi is stolen by another Team.
One team decides to take a four-hour penalty when they're unable to complete a Roadblock, and another team dodges intoxicated locals while trying to complete their Detour.
A million dollars is at the final three teams' fingertips as they count out a maddening amount of poker chips and race to see "Mr. Las Vegas," who holds the final clue to the one million dollar prize.
