Created by writer/producers Chuck Lorre (of Two and a Half Men) and Bill Prady (of Gilmore Girls) comes The Big Bang Theory, a sitcom that shows what happens when hyperintelligent roommates/physicists Sheldon and Leonard meet Penny, a beautiful woman moving in next door--and realize they know next to nothing about life outside of the lab. Rounding out the crew are the smarmy Wolowitz, who thinks he's as sexy as he is brainy, and Koothrappali, who suffers from an inability to speak in the presence of a woman.
Hit comedy The Big Bang Theory kicked off Friday at Comic-Con 2014 with a panel featuring the show's writers for the second year in a row. And of course, the writers brought along some fun video to share.
Although nothing has been officially announced regarding the cast of Star Wars: Episode VII, it's long been the assumption that original Star Wars trilogy stars Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia), Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) and Harrison Ford (Han Solo) are returning for the highly-anticipated sequel. Today, we have the latest of several unofficial confirmations about Leia, Luke and Han returning from Carrie Fisher herself, who revealed in a recent interview that all three actors will begin shooting their scenes in either March or April.
Her statement about the production start date doesn't line up with what director J.J. Abrams' said earlier this week, that production will begin in May at Pinewood Studios in London. The original trilogy characters are believed to have much bigger roles in the sequel, after J.J. Abrams and Lawrence Kasdan took over writing duties back in October. The original script by Michael Arndt relegated these beloved characters to supporting roles, with their children reportedly playing major roles.Read More
The Big Bang Theory is the biggest comedy on television. And as it saturates syndication while continuing to rack up big numbers during its prime time debut of new episodes, more and more fans are becoming addicted to the wacky antics of Leonard and Sheldon, two brilliant but socially awkward physicists living together and working in Pasadena, California, as they juggle their relationships and friendships with Penny, Amy Farrah Fowler, Howard, Raj, Bernadette and Stuart. Before and during their long and successful 7 season run, the entire cast has contributed to some lesser known movies that you may have never seen or even heard about. If you've already watched every single episode of The Big Bang Theory at least twice, and are looking for a Bazinga fix before new episodes return in 2014 (or you're just looking for something weird and somewhat creepy to kill the time), maybe you want to check out these 10 obscure offerings from the cast.
The Big Bang Theory returns soon with new episodes on CBS. It can't be missed in syndication, just turn the TV on, and you'll find it. If you're in need of a little more, one of these movies is sure to do the trick!Read More

It's been one full week since a billion sexy nerds descended upon San Diego for their annual Comic-Con event, which has become the premiere Hollywood launching pad for just about everything in the way of entertainment. This was a strange year, as no one property walked away from the grit, glitz, glamour, and geek sweat of the experience better for showing off its wares to what has become a very bored public.
SDCC 2011 wasn't without incident, though. The scuffles in and around the convention center floor have gotten more intense in recent years. Back when Twilight made its San Diego debut, a young, passionate tweenage girl was hauled away in handcuffs for aggressively picketing the casting choice of Robert Pattinson in the role of Edward Cullen. Last year an attendee stabbed another audience member in the eye with a pencil after fighting over a seat. This year's big brouhaha actually involved one of the stars of, quite possibly, the biggest comic book movie making a splash at SDCC 2011.Read More
