It's also Valentine's Day at the Biggest Loser ranch, and that means letters from loved ones go to the team who digs their way under an obstacle course of logs first with a 200 lb. dummy along for the ride, representing the contestant who has gone home.

This week, the contestants are faced with a temptation involving their favorite foods, with the winner gaining game-changing power to arrange the two teams however they like - and remain anonymous. After an unpopular decision is made to switch up the teams, tensions rise and suspicion grows about the real identity of the temptation winner. Then the red and black teams race against time and each other to assemble a giant puzzle on top of eight-foot tall blocks, with the winning team getting a very special prize.

This week, the age-old excuse "I'm stuck in my comfort zone" is addressed as contestants are pushed out of their comfort zones by switching trainers for the week. The red team works out with trainer Bob Harper, while the black team burns calories with trainer Dolvett Quince. And one trainer gets out of his own comfort zone by trying ballet with his female contestants! Also, the teams get down and dirty in a 70-foot wide mud pit, filled with various weight plates they have to find in a messy challenge that will give one team a big advantage. Then it's time for the weigh-in, followed by an emotional elimination sending one more player home.

The teams are dissolved, leaving the nine remaining players to compete on their own. Later, a tug-of-war contest finds the contestants competing for a shopping spree with Jessica Simpson; a trainer helps a player face her fear of heights; and a contestant turns the tables on a trainer.

The eagerly-anticipated makeover episode is here, and this season, it's bigger than ever! After the six remaining players compete in a challenge by shattering glass pane images of their former selves from week one on the ranch, the makeover fun begins. Fashion expert Jeannie Mai helps each contestant find stylish new clothes to flatter their slimmer selves, but first she shares a very big surprise -- a special video message from First Lady Michelle Obama inviting the players to come to the White House! Thrilled at the chance to go to the White House to meet with the First Lady, a longtime advocate for health and fitness, especially for our nation's children, the contestants have fun choosing their makeover outfits with Mai. Then they're off to the salon of celebrity stylist Ken Paves, who crafts stylish new looks for the players before they head to Washington, D.C. There, at the White House, family members are waiting to surprise them and see their amazing transformations in heartwarming, emotional reunions before they meet the First Lady.

In part two of the series' biggest makeover episode yet, the six remaining contestants get to meet First Lady Michelle Obama, whose Let's Move! initiative focuses on solving the problem of childhood obesity. The First Lady talks to the contestants about how adult behavior impacts kid behavior, congratulates the contestants on being good examples of health and fitness, and visits with each player and their family members. Then it's time for a workout they'll never forget as trainers Bob Harper and Dolvett Quince lead the First Lady, the contestants and their families through "The Biggest Loser's" first ever White House workout. Mrs. Obama also challenges the contestants with a competition to get more Americans healthy and active. Later, Bob tries to help a player who turns to food for comfort to deal with the stress of worrying about a loved one at home, and Dolvett puts contestants through a scenic last chance workout in front of the U.S. Capitol at the Ulysses S. Grant Memorial. Then their amazing trip to D.C. is over and they return to the ranch to weigh-in before another player is sent home.

Previous winners John Rhode, Olivia Ward and Patrick House return to take on a difficult obstacle course along with the players. Also: The contestant who loses the highest percentage of weight for the week wins an SUV; the trainers and players watch videos documenting their progress.

The stakes are higher than ever when all the eliminated contestants return to the ranch to compete in a fateful, four-part challenge.

The challenge winner will secure a coveted spot as a finalist, and the chance to compete for the $250,000 grand prize, along with the other two finalists revealed in last week’s episode. It’s a fight to the finish with each player fiercely determined to get back in the game in a competition that will put their speed, knowledge and endurance to the ultimate test. In the end, the third finalist of season 13 will be revealed.
