Kuzco faces his first threat of losing his position as Emperor when he struggles in P.E. and his teacher threatens to flunk him if he can't win a race with Kronk. However, Principal Amzy (who is really Yzma) tells Kronk to turn Kuzco into a turtle so he has no chance of beating Kronk, but instead, Kronk gives Kuzco the wrong potion and he ends up as a rabbit.
Squeakend at Bucky's: After failing his "squirrel" quiz, Kuzco is forced to spend 24 hours getting tutored by Bucky the Squirrel. Kuzco Fever: Kuzco is getting sick of living without his Emperor luxuries, so he taps into the royal funds.
Empress Mailna: Kuzco is excited that his date Malina is going to be crowned Empress at the school dance, until he discovers she has a huge zit. The Adventures of Red-Eyed Tree Frog Man: Yzma turns Kuzco into a tree frog.
Kuzco has used up his last excuse - if he doesn't have his homework tomorrow, he fails! After some weak attempts to do it himself, Kuzco steals Chaca's homework, only to have it eaten by a llama (courtesy of Yzma). When he tries to explain that "a llama ate his homework" no one believes him and now he has to figure out a way to get Chaca's homework back and do his own. Kuzco, Kronk, and Malina are sent out on a camping trip along with the rest of their class. Everyone is supposed to rough it, which Kuzco seems mysteriously okay with. Kronk and Malina then discover that Kuzco has a secret cave full of amenities. They try to force him to survive without it but realize themselves how nice his little set up is.
Kuzco Academy is having a fundraising cart wash, and Kuzco has to raise 100 Kuzcoins. Appalled at the prospect of actually doing charity work, Kuzco tries to get out of it any way he can, and he thinks he's totally lucked out when he just happens to find 95 Kuzcoins. But when Malina says that she's just lost 95 Kuzcoins, Kuzco is stuck in a moral dilemma and now might actually have to do some work after all. For the annual Invention Fair, everyone has to come up with one invention - which sounds like too much work to Kuzco. So he snoops around Yzma's lab to see what he can find and discovers a "Woodbot." This sounds like a great plan until the Woodbot malfunctions and starts storming the town. Then Kuzco is forced to invent another robot to fight Yzma's Woodbot.
After getting teased mercilously by Kuzco, Cavo has had enough and challenges Kuzco to a fight. After going through a whole charade of staging a fight with Kronk and throwing the match, Kuzco now has to face the inevitable - facing up to Cavo and apologizing for his actions. When Kuzco gets stuck babysitting for Pacha's kids, he tries everything to get Malina to help him. But then the kids escape to go see their parents and all of a sudden Kuzco really needs Malina's help. On their way to find their mom and dad Chacha, Tipo and Yupi accidentally end up in Yzma's lab and get turned into monkeys. Woops.
Unfit to Print: When Kuzco is put in charge of the Academy News Scroll, he manipulates Malina into writing make-believe stories about himself, which threatens to ruin Malina's reputation as a trustworthy reporter. The Emperor's New Pet: When Kuzco has to take care of a pet kitten for a school assignment, Yzma turns his harmless kitty into a big scary jaguar, forcing Kuzco to take his jaguar to the woods and leave him there. But when Malina wants to have a play date with their kitties, Kuzco has to rescue the jaguar and try to pass him off as his homework.
Fortune Cookie Day: When all of the fortunes in Kuzco's fortune cookies start coming true, he begins to believe everything they tell him - including to hand over the kingdom to Yzma. Yzma is of course behind the cookie messages; this is just another plot she's come up with to steal the kingdom from Kuzco. Gold Fool's: When Kuzco needs money for a cartcycle, he enlists Kronk and Malina's help to hunt down a huaca, a magical creature that gives out gold. But when they actually find the huaca, it's not as easily as they had hoped.
When Kuzco's attempts to earn money for the cartcycle that he wants to buy fail miserably, he turns to an old legend about magical creatures that are supposed to hand over their gold to you if you catch them.
The Yzma That Stole Kuzcoween: Yzma sets out to destroy the annual Kuzcoween holiday, but in her attempts to mask everything Kuzco-related with spooky, Yzma-ish decorations, she ends up making the Halloween-like event even better. Monster Masquerade: There's a school costume ball coming up, and both Kronk and Kuzco want to ask Malina. But they are beat to the punch when a secret admirer sends Malina a beautiful bouquet of flowers. Now they have to find out who her secret admirer is and how they can stop him from taking Malina to the dance instead of one of them.
