The Untitled Paul Thomas Anderson Project may not have a title yet, but the production has added yet another new cast member in Rami Malek.

The story centers on Philip Seymour Hoffman's character, who creates his own religious belief system after World War II, which exponentially grows in popularity. Rami Malek will play Clark, the son-in-law of Philip Seymour Hoffman's character, who is known only as The Master. Clark is married to The Master's 19-year-old daughter, a role which has not been cast yet.

Amy Adams will portray The Master's wife, while Joaquin Phoenix plays a drifter who is taken in by The Master and rises up to be his second in command, although he starts to doubt The Master's philosophies. Jesse Plemons will play The Master's son, and David Warshofsky will portray a police detective. Laura Dern also recently joined the cast in an unknown role.

Paul Thomas Anderson will direct from his own screenplay, which is loosely based on the creation of Scientology. It isn't known when production will start on the Untitled Paul Thomas Anderson Project.
