The USA Network has ensured new life for the latest hit series in its growing lineup. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the USA Network has renewed its latest series, White Collar for a second season.

While the network confirmed the renewal, which was first announced in a tweet from series creator/executive producer Jeff Eastin, the network didn't reveal how many episodes the second-season order was for, or when the second season would premiere. The show got off to a strong start with 5.4 million viewers for the series premiere and, although the ratings dipped a bit during its run,, the show eclipsed that mark with 5.5 million viewers for the show's midseason finale.

The show is currently on hiatus and will return to air the rest of its first season on January 20, when the show moves from Friday nights to Tuesday nights.
