This is wholly unnecessary.
Yeah, because having a terrible comedy director, a terrible comedy writer and a cast of terribly unfunny "comedian" women that thrive on horribly embarrassingly comedic improv will be able to pull off anything believably scary within a genre they know nothing about.
Yeah, this is just all-around bad news. I guarantee most scenes will devolve into embarrassingly bad improv between Wiig and McCarthy as they try and act funny. They're so obsessed with making a statement that they're already ruining the film as a reboot for the franchise.
Because the Bond films needed something to make them worse. And here I thought Skyfall might turn it around for the franchise.

@mr-k, Actually, they didn't replace him, haha. They simply took his portion out citing that it was for runtime issues -- that the film was long enough without his and so they just nixed it. I mean, it must've been BAD if they didn't even want someone's short that they paid to have done in it.
