Oh My God! He's got the one glove on and everything! I think I may have just peed myself a little bit....I can't wait for the finale. But I was kinda hoping this day would never come. But I guess all good things......nay.......great things must come to an end. I really hate to see it go! But its better it goes out on top rather than a piece of crap! Smallville is and will continue to be an American......nay......World Classic! Known and loved by all who watched the show and cherished forever by its fans!!!!!
@slysnide I didn't even think about that! It was a good thing she did leave the Penthouse in TDK. Cause if she didn't at one point, she'd be like I'm thirsty and so Alfred gets her something to drink. But with an extra ingredient. And that's when things get bad for Rachel. The next thing Rachel knows is she wakes up the next morning in a tub full of cheese and crackers, wearing a turtle suit with holes cut out in certain places, and she's got a funny taste in her mouth. And she can't help but think "Ole' Al did it again! Why didn't I leave when I had the chance? I guess I'll never learn!" But the worst part is the World's Greatest Detective doesn't even know his own butler is a serial rapist. What a sad day in Gotham. Lol.
@slysnide lol. Maybe she'll play a love interest for TH or JGL. Or maybe the other MC will have a love interest for a change with this new MC. Alfred be robbing the cradle this time around! We all know he probably felt up Rachel in Batman Begins when he put her unconscious body into the car. Alfred the Loyal Butler is also just a dirty old man. Lol. He's just wanting him some tail!
Maybe JGL will play a character named Tommy. Yes.....Tommy Solomon, an alien from a distant galaxy trying to blend in and act as a normal human being would act......it's Genius!!!!!! Nolan could pull this off yet!
@slysnide Micheal Caine plays Alfred Pennyworth......duh!!!!! :D
By the way for the people complaining about how the title of the article and the article itself ruined the graphic novel and whatever else, well get over it! If they had just made the article title "Joseph Gorden-Levitt role in The Dark Knight Rises Recvealed". You would have opened the article to see if he was cast as the Riddler or whoever only to see that is it Alberto Falcone. And if they had left the real spoilerish stuff out and just said he'd be playing Alberto Falcone the son of Carmine Falcone from Batman Begins. Most of you would be like "Well who the f*ck is Alberto Falcone and why does Nolan want such a great actor to play a role that seems so insignificant. And why is this character we've never heard of being brought in now?" And so you'd Google Alberto Falcone and you'd find some article or the wikipedia page and find out for yourself that Alberto Falcone was Holiday. And that he confesses to at least twenty-five holiday themed murders that took place over the course of a year. Why gripe when you was going to find out anyway? Whether MovieWeb told you or because your curiosity got the better of you. Come on people.
Awesome! I hope Nolan confirms this cause the The Long Halloween was awesome! It was a real great read! I actually just finished reading it a couple of weeks ago. But doesn't the story hint at something else..... SPOILERS.....SPOILERS......SPOILERS.....SPOILERS......DON'T READ ANY FURTHER OR THE LONG HALLOWEEN MAY BE RUINED A LITTLE MORE FOR YOU!!!! But in the graphic novel wasn't it Gilda Dent (Harvey Dent's wife) who originally started the Holiday Murders so her husband the District Attorney wouldn't have so much on his plate and so they could finally have children. And Gilda believed that Harvey took the Mantle of Holiday on New Year's Eve. But that wouldn't make a whole lotta sense since the person Harvey "killed" was Alberto Falcone who later confesses to all of the Holiday Murders even the ones that Gilda committed. But I think Gilda is just a little loopy at the end of the graphic novel. I think she started the murders and then Alberto took over as Holiday after faking his own death. Either way, but with Alberto assuming the identity of The Holiday Killer Gilda's agenda was still being carried out while Alberto was carrying out his own agenda. They had the same means but to different ends. Gilda to help Harvey lighten his case load so he would have the time to make and care for a child. And for Alberto to show up his father to become more infamous than the Falcone Family Name and his own father Carmine "The Roman" Falcone. And in becoming a gimmick criminal (like the rest in Arkham), he became a "Freak". Something the Mafia doesn't want anything to do with. Also in the Graphic Novel Carmine actually hires some of the "Freaks" to aid his cause and also try to find out who is Holiday? He hires Riddler, Poison Ivy, Scarecrow and the Mad Hatter. Something his family was against. They wanted nothing to do with the Freaks. So maybe that's where Bane will fit in the movie, as Hired Help. Who knows....I just know I can't wait for this movie and that I'll be there opening night! And that JGL is gonna rock whatever role he has been cast in in TDKR.
I just had a thought about how Rosenbaum's Lex will return. If someone has already posted this idea then cool at least I'm not the only person who thinks this way. Anyway here we go..... The real Lex Luthor never died. Though he was heavily injured after the Fortress fell and was on life support, he still needed clones to replace his broken parts. Skin grafts, organs, etc. We know he moved around the city never really staying in one place for too long. Well what if Oliver didn't kill Lex. Oliver killed who he thought was Lex. Someone who could be identified as Lex. Oliver killed Lex's clone. A clone that was being sent to or away from the Real Lex after getting what he needed from the clone. A new heart, spleen, a useless gallbladder, or even a patch of skin from the donor clone. And now with the world thinking that Lex Luthor is dead. What better way to plan and influence events if everyone thinks your out of the picture. No one will say well thats the handy work of Lex Luthor. The League would just be like, "Nope, Oliver killed him. We have dealt with a Kryptonian plague that made people seem like zombies but we haven't actually dealt with risen from the dead zombies. It ain't Luthor! He's dead, so drop it!" Lol. What better advantage could he have? They're not chasing him anymore cause they think he's dead. Now he can accomplish anything he needs to for his return and his conquest to take over the world!!! And like I said in much much earlier post in this forum, and now he's using this "Superboy as a sleeper cell....gathering information against his enemies. So when the time comes he will be ready to fight them. And crush them. And like we've all been saying, I can't wait to see how this is all gonna roll out!
@lane Zatana is pretty great. I'm not sure who the actress is that portrays her but she also has a great pair of legs. Also next week's episode will feature another guest star. The characters name is Amos Fortune, he owns a casino. And in the comics he was able to control luck. Not sure if he'll have that ability in next week's episode. Guess we'll have to wait and see.
@lane I really enjoyed the episode mostly because the build up of Clark's final decision to disguise himself as the Bumbling Reporter. When he ran into ole' dude at the end of the episode, it was so awesome. And then he pushes up his glasses. It was an epic moment!!! ****Spoiler**** But the episode as a whole was a building block. Especially now since that a certain person nows bears the mark of Lord Darkseid! And I totally knew that they were gonna get marked once they had there little meeting with Desaad. And it's also pretty cool cause now the League can finally put a name to "the Darkness." But next weeks episode looks like it's gonna be a hoot! Which will be reminiscent of The Hangover! I loved the clip, their little dancing and the clearly intoxicated Clark saying "Watch this!". Which is kinda weird since we know that drugs and alcohol can't affect Clark. So maybe magic is involved somehow. Unless the lesser known Jack Daniel's Kryptonite makes it's debut. Lol. And apparntly Clark and Chloe got married??? So that's actually Marriage Number Two for Clark. His first marriage under the influence of Red K was with Alicia. But I can't wait for next week's episode.
@lane The picture of Conner Kent...ohhh. Lol. I actually just noticed something about the picture. Nothing major just some colors. Clark always wore flannel and has been referred to as the Flannel King. He always had like the red and blue flannel, as a reference to his one day famous suit. Well Superboy there is also decked out in flannel. But he's got a black and red flannel shirt, much like his costume. Just a pretty cool extra touch the folks of Smallville added to his Character. I wonder if Clark finds out he's actually cloned from him as well. I'm sure he will. But Season Eight as a Whole wasn't a great Season, the Brainic infected super intelligent Chloe was pretty awesome. The second half was a let down. Especially the final fight scene. We were thinking it was going to be an Epic Battle, but it was a Fizzle. That's what really ruined the Season for me. All the build up for nothing. Oh yeah Season Four is my LEAST favorite Season. I think what messed up the season for me was the whole Lana witch thing. I know Magic is a viable source of power in the DC Universe (or else you wouldn't have the amazing character Zatana!) but to have Lana's witchy ancestor possess her and all that just ruined that Season for me. Even though the Season had some awesome episodes like Transference. It's the one were one of the stones causes Lionel and Clark to switch bodies! Man that episodes was INSANE! And the Season also introduced us to the great Lois Lane! But my all time favorite Season has got to be Season Three! I know this is gonna sound a little weird, but in this show about heroism and good overcoming evil, my favorite characters have always been Lionel and Lex! (And the return of Lionel this Season has got me stoked!!!!) I just love these bad guys! And Season Three just really showcased Lionel's Treachery and Ruthlessness! He blackmailed Chloe into investigating Clark and once he got his claws into Chloe he didn't want to let go! And even after he's sent to jail, those people who betrayed him could not escape the ever present vengeful hand of Lionel Luthor! He poisoned his own son! And blew up the safe house that Chloe and her father were sent to. And even in the beginning of Season Four he sent a meteor freak assassin to finish Chloe off. And let us not forget the story arc in Season Three of Lex's sanity, his stay at Belle Reve, the nice painful dangerous electroshock therapy Lionel insisted his son undergo in order to purge his son's memories, and then Lex's quest to regain his lost memories at the Summerhold Institution. That was an awesome little arc which fed into the greater arc of Lionel and Morgan Edge killing Lionel's parents and Lionel eventually going to jail because the Statute of Limitations on Murder never runs out. And we can't forget the introduction of Perry White!!! I absolutely loved that episode. It was so great. Season Three was just a fantastic Season all around.
@cupid Well duh! Lol. Or else you would have cared to check out this story. If you weren't a fan of the show you you wouldnt care enough to click the link and waste your time reading or commenting on the story. Truth be told I like to argue, and I don't like being wrong. Like I said I'm real stubborn, and I don't mean to offend. Sorry if I did. I just like a good argument. And since it's about something I really care about I just get carried away.
