Oh ma gosh! I didn't mean that will be the story. It's just my suggestion. Sorry. :(
Perfect sequel story. U. S. S. Enterprise under the command of Capt. J. T. KIRK (not C. Pike) receives distress call from science survey team on planet Talos IV. Perfect for old fans. Good for new comers. Gaila as green Orian Salve Girl! Come to think of it, how can anyone come from a constellation? :)
I am sorry but this is sick. I shall boycott this movie.
It would be cool if this movie ended with a scene where Pike is seeing Kirk off the Enterprise and he tells him "We have to get going Jim. Star Fleet has given us an assignment to investigate a distress call from a science team on TALOS IV" :)
Looks fantastic! Cloverfield II trailer in front of it do you think?
Why does it have a mouth??? :)
Can they make me one? :)
It's only my guess based on the effort being made to emphasize the city is undergrond. Could be entirely wrong.
The city is NOT undeground. It is in an enormous dome that is part of a Starship headed to a distant Solar system. Remember an early 70's TV program called "The Star Lost" (Canadian)
If they would only grasp that it is time to off "The 3 Stooges" This show could be saved. :) They won't. SYTYCD is now the top show in it's genre.
JR said "on here and for now and its true not being mean the acting does suck david snyder who made 300 would be perfect to remake it" Hey. 300 Alice Clones block a narrow passage fighting off 1 million zombies. You just came up with the script!!!!!! :) Demand royalties!
Here an Alice, there an Alice, everywhere an Alice Alice! :)
I believe you are correct skywatcher. They will change the story. Klaatu's gang will "Reduce the Earth to a burned out cinder" if we don't stop GLOBAL WARMING! :)
I'll take the job until I get killed or they find somebody better!
"no one had any idea what was going on if you had never read the book" You are so right Kwisatz. I remember when I saw the theatrical release the ushers were handing out papers with definitions of terms and explanations of the situations background and when the movie was over people were still coming out of the theater muttering "what was that I just watched". Never saw anything like it before or after. Actually, to do it justice I think it would take 3 movies. What do you think about TOTAL CGI like "Final Fantasy"?
It's June 4th. Would you please drop this post? I'm sick of seeing it! :)
OK, here is my guess. The two crewmen were captured by the enemy in a war between Earth and another planet. They were robbed of their identities and programmed to believe their mission is to deliver a planet destroying bomb to the enemy homeworld. Turns out they are delivering the bomb to Earth. Hum. Oh, wait a sec. That was the plot of a multiple episode story on the 1990's version of The Outer Limits. Nah, they wouldn't display that type of lack of originality. Would they?
There are new pictures at 01-18-08.com. I wonder how they fit in? The green photo of the ships and planes attacking something in the water is such an obvious paste up. Nothing matches in scale. The carcus on the beach is interesting. Could the "Missing" guy be the premutated "Clover"? Here we go again. Love mysteries!!!
Gonna get the DVD on the way home tomorrow and spend the evening wearing out the slow-mo and pause on my DVD player! :) Lots of stuff I have heard about but didn't see in the theater.
I work with a guy that does some small time acting but really has his ear to the Hollywood beat. The next move will be an "Equal". Hud took a shot of a guy on the bridge who had a camera also and was shooting Hud. This will be the overlap point. The other guy may be a professional videographer who will chase after "clovie" rather than trying to get away. More coverage of the military and police operations. Can't wait.
