What a sh*t load of f*ck!! Jesus Christ...if they do away with DVD, I will beat someone's ass. Looks like everyone's buying Blu-ray. Why spend more $$$ on a slightly better image? Slap a DVD into an up-scaling HDMI DVD player and BAM...nice clean crisp image. I'm as big a movie buff and electronics hi-tech guy as the next, but I love DVD, always will. I can still enjoy great hi-def images and sound without coughing up a sh*t load of money for Blu-ray. I have a vast DVD collection, and the declines I see here in sales is disturbing.
Lets face it Killer...there is a sh*t load of films both great and important that should be in there. A bunch of old guys are gonna be limited in thier choosing. I'm suprised they even picked Terminator.
28 Days was good until the end...the whole crazy British Army group wanting to repopulate England? Thats a bit much...they could have come up with something better than that, but it was a good film. 28 Weeks was good too, I did actually enjoy it better than Days, but it had it's faults too. Incredible Hulk was a great flick.
All directors have thier "down" times. Still...if Romero was involved, we would have seen something different. I'll have to take a peek at the script Mr. Ottley.
No prob Vamp. But the RE series could have been alot better. In Resident Evil: Apocalypse...when the dead started to rise out of the ground...thats where I dismissed the series entirely. Well...when CGI was used on zombies in the first RE...thats where I was out. The other movies were all seen out of curiosity when they were released on DVD. The series has alot more potential then what it was given.
Sorry Vamp...just not a fan.
Yeah...if a Gears of War movie was ever made and he was attached to it...again...I'd punch him in his f*cking face. Never been a fan of this fella.
Sorry fellas, but I wanna see Mr. Freeze...I think he can exist in Nolan's universe. He's got a great back story. And Johnny Depp will play him. Just Kidding :)
I admire your honesty.
I don't care if this has been said already, or if people will strongly disagree. This still excellent movie does not need to be remade. Brandon Lee was f*cking superb. He cannot be replaced. Why do you think the other Crows sucked balls? Because Brandon Lee was the only guy and will be the only guy to ever pull this off perfectly. The Crow itself was not a perfect movie, but goddamit...Brandon Lee made that movie what it is. THERE AIN'T NO COMING BACK!
The only thing that killed me with Res 1 were the digital zombies. How much more effective is make-up effects compared to the horrible CGI they used? Sometimes...well..almost all the time...I'd love to punch Paul W.S. Anderson in his f*cking face.
Are you serious Vamp?
Romero's first dead movie was the classic Night of the Living Dead. His original trilogy is legendary, I think his best work. And I know you hate the remakes Killerman, but 1990's Night of the Living Dead remake was pretty good with Tom Savini directing, more of a slight modernization with a kick ass Barbara. Of course she's another case of Hollywood's attempt at creating another Ellen Ripley...there's only one kick ass female in all of movies and thats her hands down. I liked both 28 Days and 28 Weeks Later. I can't wait for 28 Months Later also. Land of the Dead was...decent, but the atrocity was Diary of the Dead. I mean goddamn...Romero had to have been drunk or absent a majority of the time. Ashanti getting killed made that movie my favorite in the Res series dude.
I think Long could pull off Riddler. Seems everyone is focused on Depp for this role.
