I'm a body horror nut, if I was to win this great prize I would literally splice the poster into my skin so I could become one with the beautiful organism that is Cosmopolis. If I don't win this then I'm going to ''Brood'' and then turn ''Rabid''!!!
Good review. Not a Potter fan though, but I might see it now.
This is going to be good, Nolan knows what he's doing. Obviously the length of the film will be long, that way it will balance the villains perfectly.
I should admit though, that I'm a little confused. Van Adder is a Dutch man....this man is Indian. Maybe Hollywood doesn't see race or gender...I'm lost.
Personally speaking, I don't see why Mendes would do a Bond film, he's kind of above doing mainstream typical action.
@Daveactor7 Yeah, this guy is a good actor. After seeing his performance in Slumdog Millionare I'm convinced that he can blend into this role efficiently. As for The Lat Airbender, blame it on shymawatzhisname.
People shouldn't slander this movie if they haven't even seen a photo of it. I personally think that it's an interesting choice for many reasons, instead of going for a commercial villain it's clever to go for an unknown one because it can be manipulated to become unique. Also, let's not forget that Scarecrow and Rhas Al Ghul were considered unknown villains before Batman Begins came out....and we all know how that turned out. This movie might be one of the best reboots made in modern times, the approach seems different and unique. Give it a chance.
An origin story would just suck. I think we've read and heard that one a million times. Let's get straight to the point this time and give us a worthwhile villain such as either Brainiac or Parasite. Lex Luthor is getting out of fashion.
I would prefer if at least none of these guys got the role. They all look like children, it would be really nice if we had a real man in the role, I fail to understand why people such as Nolan and Snyder would even consider casting such baby faces. On the other hand, I think Jason Ritter could do the role some justice. It's aslo bad to know that Karl Urban is Judge Dredd now because he would have done Supes some real justice.
Well at least we can feel safe with Aronofsky. Except, I would like to know how he is going to fix the disaster that was Origins by Hood. I agree with @Daveactor7, Mcquarrie is an excellent screenwriter and him together with Aronofsky= a great film.
This film looks like Batman and Robin, I'm sorry. They could have made it look less corny. I also have the script and plenty others, it was passed around a lot last year.
Wilson could do the role justice. It's just that I'm so used to seeing him as a bad guy that I might just want to see him shave off his head and become Lex Luthor.
