Elizabeth Gillies, who plays Jade West on the hit Nickelodeon series Victorious, has joined the cast of New Line Cinema's Vacation reboot. The actress is said to have booked a small role, although no character details were given.

Ed Helms stars as Rusty Griswold, the son of Clark (Chevy Chase) and Ellen Griswold (Beverly D'Angelo) from the original Vacation, who takes his family on their first ever road trip vacation to WallyWorld. Christina Applegate also stars as Rusty's wife, with Skyler Gisondo and Steele Stebbins playing their sons. We reported last month that Chris Hemsworth is playing the boyfriend of Rusty's sister Audrey, with Charlie Day portrying a river rafting tour guide. Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo will reprise their roles in cameo appearances.

John Francis Daley and Jonathan M. Goldstein are directing from their own screenplay, with David Dobkin producing. Shooting is scheduled to begin next week.

Aside from her role on Victorious, Elizabeth Gillies also starred in the indie comedy Harold, and she has a role in Denis Leary's new FX series Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll.
