According to Variety, Val Kilmer will star back to back in the Tony Scott-directed Deja Vu, and then opposite Meryl Streep in Dark Matter.

First up is the Disney drama Deja Vu, an apt title since Kilmer will be reteaming with the Top Gun tandem of Scott and producer Jerry Bruckheimer. He'll join Denzel Washington, Jim Caviezel and Paula Patton.

Kilmer and Washington play FBI agents who get the opportunity to step back in time to stop a terrorist from blowing up a ferry. Pic will shoot early next month in New Orleans.

Kilmer, last seen in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, follows by joining Streep in Dark Matter, a fact-based pic directed by Chen Shi-Zheng. Drama is about a Chinese university student who reacts violently when his chances for a Nobel Prize are dashed by school politics. Liu Ye plays the student.
