Pantelion Films has debuted a new featurette for their upcoming horror film The Vatican Tapes, arriving in theaters July 24. Stars Michael Peña, Olivia Dudley, Djimon Hounsou, Dougray Scott and director Mark Neveldine offer their thoughts on actual demonic possession, while we get a glimpse at some terrifying footage. Mark Neveldine even admits that some of the scenes he put in the film horrify him to this day, and that he wanted to push the envelope with this new thriller.

The Vatican Tapes follows the ultimate battle between good and evil - God versus Satan. Angela Holmes (Olivia Taylor Dudley) is an ordinary 27-year-old until she begins to have a devastating effect on anyone close, causing serious injury and death. Holmes is examined and possession is suspected, but when the Vatican is called upon to exorcise the demon, the possession proves to be an ancient satanic force more powerful than ever imagined. It's all up to Father Lozano (Michael Pena) to wage war for more than just Angela's soul, but for the world as we know it.

The Vatican Tapes supporting cast is rounded out by Kathleen Robertson, John Patrick Amedori, Tehmina Sunny, Michael Paré, Daniel Bernhardt and Kent Shocknek. Will you be checking out this upcoming thriller when it hits theaters next month? Or are exorcisms too scary for you to handle?
