When We Were Kings: Award-winning helmer Vikram Jayanti, has signed on to direct the feature film adaptation of one of James Ellroy’s most gruesome creations, the gay serial killer/buddy novel, "Killer On The Road."
The film, scripted by former critic Chris Peachment, is due to shoot next spring. It is being co-produced by Tartan Films and F&ME. The film will be cast by Joanna Ray, best known for her work with David Lynch and Paul Verhoeven.
Jayanti has also previously made a documentary about Ellroy called Feast Of Death.
