AMC's The Walking Dead is winding down Season 6, with just four episodes remaining. Following last night's episode, Not Tomorrow Yet, AMC released a brief preview and a clip from next week's episode, The Same Boat, which airs Sunday, March 13 at 9 PM ET. As we learned at the end of Not Tomorrow Yet, Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Carol (Melissa Suzanne McBride) were ambushed by a group of Saviors, lead by a mysterious character played by Alicia Witt.

During Not Tomorrow Yet, Rick (Andrew Lincoln) lead a large group of Alexandrians and a handful of people from the Hilltop Colony on an attack at the Saviors' compound. These survivors went in and killed a slew of Saviors while they slept. But one managed to sound an alarm, leading to a deadly shootout. By the next morning, it appeared that Rick's crew had killed everyone in this compound. As they began to leave for home, one remaining Savior attempted to escape on motorcycle. But he was captured right before a mysterious voice over a walkie-talkie revealed that Maggie and Carol had been taken hostage.

The clip shows the ending of last night's episode. But from the Saviors' perspective, who are watching everything unfold through binoculars from a safe distance in the woods. Unfortunately, we don't learn who Alicia Witt's character is yet, and it isn't clear if she is someone from Robert Kirkman's comic books, or a character created specifically for the show. Despite the number of people they killed, we know Rick's group still didn't manage to kill Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), since he will make his debut on The Walking Dead season finale in just a few short weeks.

Negan was introduced in the 100th issue of Robert Kirkman's comic books, where he took the Alexandrians by surprise, before choosing a random person to kill, Glenn Rhee (Steven Yeun). It isn't known yet if the Season 6 finale will be Steven Yeun's last episode, but the introduction of Negan will certainly give the show a new dynamic. In the comics, Negan uses his group The Saviors to intimidate other communities such as the Hilltop Colony and The Kingdom into paying tribute to them, in exchange for The Saviors providing protection from the zombies. Negan's favorite weapon is a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire, which he has dubbed Lucille, which is what he kills Glenn with in the comics.

In addition to the new previews for next week's episode, we also have new photos from both Not Tomorrow Yet, along with the most talked about scene from last night's episode. Do you think Rick and his crew managed to kill off most of The Saviors, or do you think they're still hiding in a different location? Chime in with your thoughts below, and stay tuned for more from The Walking Dead.
