It finally happened. Negan arrived in The Walking Dead as the final moments of Season 6 played out. It was tense. It was stomach turning. It was a big cliffhanger that will have everyone speculating until next Halloween. Who did Negan kill? And how will it affect the Alexandria crew moving forward? If you missed The Walking Dead Season 6 finale Last Day on Earth last night, AMC has released the most talked about moment, which features the highly anticipated introduction of Negan, played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan, and his trusty baseball bat Lucille. After he gets done playing a game of Eenie Meenie with some of our most beloved survivors, he states the following.

"Anybody moves, anybody says anything, cut the boy's other eye out and feed it to his father. And then we'll start. You can breathe, you can blink, you can cry. Hell, you're all going to be doing that!"

The season then ends, not with a bang but with a bashing. And we see it all play out from the POV of Negan's first victim. Blood drips down the camera lens as we hear the final breaths of someone. But who? The identity of the deceased is being kept a secret for now. And we're not even sure if the showrunners have decided who is on the receiving end of this baseball bat. Here's what Negan creator Robert Kirkman had to say about last night's big introduction and cliffhanger.

"I think that for a TV show to be going into its seventh season and to get this huge event that is going to skyrocket things for many season to come... I feel like it's puts everything in a great place. So I think Negan's arrival on the show is absolutely awesome."

Of course, the cliffhanger didn't sit well with fans. Some where disappointed that we didn't get to see Negan's victim. And others claim they needed the summer to mourn whoever was on the reviving end of Negan's fatal blow. About the cliffhanger, show runner Scott M. Gimple says this.

"The end of the story is what people saw. And when we reveal who was on the receiving end there, that's going to be the start of another story. The kickback effects from that, what it makes everyone into, how people react, how the world changes for everyone, that's the next part of the story."
