Last week, Warcraft director Duncan Jones took to his Twitter page to discuss his highly-anticipated video game adaptation, revealing that they are trying to let people unfamiliar with the game know this is a movie "they'll genuinely want to see." The director admits that marketing the movie is tough. His tweets sparked a number of replies from fans, though, where he revealed some interesting tidbits, including that he may make separate trailers that showcase the Horde and Alliance that focus on each side. Here's his initial message to the fans, which spawned several tweets in response.

"So let's chat. I've got a movie coming out next year; Warcraft. It's based on a computer game of the same name but it's pretty unique. We're trying to work out how best to let people who don't play the game know that this is a film they'll genuinely want to see. You know as well as I do, game to film adaptations have a checkered past, but I'm proud of this beast. It's unique. It's something special."

As for the separate trailers for Horde and Alliance, the director added that he actually has pitched this idea to Legendary Pictures, but we'll have to wait and see if this idea ever comes to fruition. When asked about the visual effects, the director said that, "we fit somewhere between Planet of the Apes, Fellowship of the Ring and Avatar. The first trailer was released during Comic-Con 2014, but we haven't seen any new footage since then. Do you think it would be a good idea to make separate Horde and Alliance trailers for Warcraft? Let us know what you think, and take a look at Duncan Jones' tweets below.
