Yesterday, Netflix released the first trailer for their upcoming TV series Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp, which announced a slew of cast members who are starring in the eight-episode series, reprising their roles from the 2001 cult classic comedy Wet Hot American Summer. Today, Deadline has learned that Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig, Jon Hamm and Jason Schwartzman have been set for "guest starring/recurring roles" in the comedy series.

No details were given for Chris Pine's role, but Jon Hamm is playing "a secret spy," with Kristen Wiig playing a counselor at the "preppy rival" Camp Tigerclaw. Jason Schwartzman is playing the boy's camp head counselor. There are also several other newcomers joining the cast, including Michaela Watkins, John Slattery, Josh Charles, Randall Park, Jayma Mays, Lake Bell, Paul Scheer, Rob Huebel and Richard Schiff, although no details were given for their roles.

Elizabeth Banks, Michael Ian Black, Bradley Cooper, Judah Friedlander, Janeane Garofalo, Joe Lo Truglio, Ken Marino, Christopher Meloni, Marguerite Moreau, Zak Orth, Amy Poehler, David Hyde Pierce, Paul Rudd, Molly Shannon, and Michael Showalter were announced yesterday as some of the returning Wet Hot American Summer cast members in this Netflix series, which was co-created by David Wain and Michael Showalter. David Wain is directing all eight episodes, with the series set to premiere this summer on Netflix.
