Kirk Jones will direct What to Expect When You're Expecting adaptationEverybody's Fine director Kirk Jones has been tapped by Lionsgate to direct the adaptation What to Expect When You're Expecting.

Heather Hach wrote the original adaptation of Heidi Murkoff's best-selling book, with Shauna Cross(Whip It!) writing the final draft. The story revolves around four couples who are all expecting their first child, as they come to understand that things seldom go according to plan when having a baby.

Mike Medavoy, Arnold Messer, and David Thwaites will produce through their Phoenix Pictures banner. Author Heidi Murkoff, Erik Murkoff and Alan Nevins will executive produce.

Heidi Murkoff's book What to Expect When You're Expecting has sold over 16 million copies worldwide and has been translated into over 40 languages.

What to Expect When You're Expecting was released May 18th, 2012.

      Not something i would want to see...but i get this feeling that the Misses will drag me to it since she gets dragged to my geeky movies.
