Belle Mccain (Teyonah Parris) tries to catch up with an old friend, Jeremy Spencer (Brian J. White) in our exclusive clip from Where Children Play. This drama is now available on DVD and VOD from RLJ Entertainment. While Jeremy's "fancy life" seemingly turned out just fine, things haven't been going so well for Belle, who jokes that she manages Queen Latifah before revealing that she's barely scraping by. She also reveals that she's been ordered to come back home to Compton to look after her father.

Belle is a beautiful young woman who never found a bright future because she was too busy running away from a heartbreaking past. But news of her mother passing away brings Belle back home to her family and the painful memories she tried to leave behind. Only when she finds the strength to confront her family's shameful history, does Belle learn that forgiveness has the power to heal the scars of a broken childhood and unlock her heart to the possibility of love.

Where Children Play stars Teyonah Parris (Dear White People), Brian J. White (TV's Scandal), Leon (And Then There Was You) and multi-platinum recording artist and actress Macy Gray (Brotherly Love). The supporting cast is rounded out by Edwina Findley, Kylee Russell, Miranda Bailey, Eddie Flake, Palmer Davis and Donat Sean Abiff. Leila Djansi directs from her own original screenplay.

Amanda Marshall, Violetta Ekpe, Victoria Lea and Suzanne Patrick produce Where Children Play, with Dave Harper serving as executive producer. Filmmaker Leila Djansi, a native of Ghana, has previously directed And Then There Was You and Sinking Sands. Her next project, Hossana, has Leon and Ebbe Bassey attached to star.
