Global superstar Will Smith is reportedly in talks to join Triple Frontier, a new film from The Hurt Locker's director and screenwriter, Kathryn Bigelow and Mark Boal, according to The Wrap.

We had previously reported in April that Sean Penn, Javier Bardem and Denzel Washington were in talks to star in the film and now, according to a leaked email that The Wrap has received, Will Smith and Christian Bale are in talks for the film, along with Penn and Bardem.

A Paramount rep told the site that it was not an official Paramount email and that, "It has some correct information and some inaccurrate information." Here are some of the other projects this email mentions below:

Young Adult - Paramount is looking to pick up this project which we reported a few weeks ago had set Charlize Theron to star and Jason Reitman to direct. The production is eyeing an October/November start date.

World War Z - The studio apparently loves Matthew Michael Carnahan's script and the film is moving forward with Brad Pitt starring and Marc Forster directing.

Untitled G.I. Joe Sequel - The studio is "VERY happy" with Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick's script and Stephen Sommers may return to direct the sequel.

Twilight Zones - David Chase's previously-untitled film gets a title and they are seeking a group of unknown actors for the cast.

Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters - Tommy Wirkola is directing the film and casting is under way. The film will go into production next year.

Untitled Jack Ryan Project - Seeking a new writer before the studio will greenlight the film.

Star Trek 2 - Film is still in the script stage. Production is set to start next year.
