Fantastic Fest is currently wrecking havoc on Austin, Texas. And one of the many films to have it's debut at the film festival is the hugely anticipated cult sequel WolfCop 2. The first poster has been revealed. And along with that comes the official title Another WolfCop.

While this title indicates that we're definitely getting 'Another WolfCop', it also hints that more werewolf police officers are joining the force. This cool one sheet pays homage to the Sylvester Stallone 80s action classic Cobra, which was not a sequel. We do get two new taglines. The first spoofs Cobra with 'Sequels are a disease. Meet the Cure.' The second one, 'The Hairy Arm of the Law' harkens back to the original 2014 classic.

Lowell Dean returns to direct WolfCop 2. The first movie was a crowd-sourced independent smash hit. The Dude Designs is responsible for the debut of this new poster. Here's the official synopsis for this Canadian production.

"Alcoholic werewolf cop Lou Garou springs into action when an eccentric businessman with evil intentions seduces Woodhaven's residents with a new brewery and hockey team in this outrageous horror-comedy sequel."

This past July, it was announced at San Diego Comic-Con that WolfCop will be getting his own comic book series. Written by Max Marks with art by Arcana Studios, the Wolfcop comic book series will pit Lou Garou against bigger, badder, and meaner monsters than anything that has threatened Woodhaven before! Says Lowell Dean, writer and director of Wolfcop, about the comic.

"From the moment I created WolfCop, I saw him as a larger-than-life character that could exist in many formats. To date we've made two WolfCop movies - and I couldn't be happier that we're now bringing him into the world of actual comics! In comic form, WolfCop will be truly unleashed, no longer constrained by the budget of an independent film. More explosions! More monsters! More road trips! I'm so excited to bring Lou Garou and friends into this new realm with Dynamite. The WolfCop adventure is truly just beginning..."

WolfCop 2 will be released later this year. Leo Fafard returns as Wolfcop, with a cast that also includes Amy Matysio and Jonathan Cherry. A trailer should be just around the corner. While we await that first look footage, take a look at this cool poster courtesy of Twitter
