After more than 15 years playing the beloved mutant Logan, Hugh Jackman is prepping for his final performance as the character in Wolverine 3, which is scheduled to start production in early 2016. 20th Century Fox has already set a March 3, 2017 release date for this superhero adventure, but there is very little we know about the story at this point. While promoting Pan, Hugh Jackman was asked about his favorite scene from all of the X-Men movies, and without hesitation, he had this to say to Digital Spy, which may surprise you.

"I still think, ultimately, my favorite one is the cameo in X-Men: First Class. To me, that just, in about 15 seconds, sums up the character."

If you don't recall the actor's blink-and-you'll-miss-it scene in X-Men: First Class, Logan is approached by Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) and Erik Lensherr (Michael Fassbender) in a bar, while they are recruiting new mutants, where Logan tells them, "Go f--k yourselves." Hugh Jackman has starred in seven movies as Logan/Wolverine, 2000's X-Men, 2003's X2: X-Men United, 2006's X-Men: The Last Stand, 2009's X-Men Origins: Wolverine, 2011's X-Men: First Class, 2013's The Wolverine and last year's X-Men: Days of Future Past. While it's strange to think that the actor's tiny cameo in X-Men: First Class is his favorite scene, he does have a point, in that it "sums up the character" in such a short amount of time.

Last month, Hugh Jackman even shared his pick for who he'd like to see replace him as Wolverine, stating that he thinks Tom Hardy would "be great" as Logan. Just one day later, fan art already surfaced showing what Tom Hardy might look like with Wolverine's iconic hairstyle, and a cigar in his mouth. It will surely be a few years until we find out who will replace Hugh Jackman, but the actor offered some words of wisdom to whoever takes his place.

"Start training six months out. I got the part literally as they were filming. Bryan Singer said, 'How long do you need to get into shape?' 'Three weeks?' We had to hide a lot of stuff. If you look at the film carefully there's quite a transformation in my body, during the film."

Since Hugh Jackman has appeared in literally every X-Men film to date, many are wondering whether or not he'll pop up in X-Men: Apocalypse, after the actor and director Bryan Singer had a cryptic exchange during their Hall H panel at Comic Con. Principal photography has already wrapped on X-Men: Apocalypse, but it's possible they either already shot a secret cameo, or that they could be doing reshoots, where Hugh Jackman could step in as Wolverine. Take a look at the actor's video interview segment, and chime in with your thoughts below. We also have the scene in question.
