Bruce Willis, Kristen Stewart and Jesse Eisenberg have signed on to star in an Untitled Woody Allen Comedy. As is the case with most Woody Allen movies, no plot details were given. As Deadline points out, Woody Allen is one of the few directors who doesn't show a script to the actors he's courting, since everybody wants to work with him if they are available.
The project will reunite Jesse Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart for the third time. They first starred in the 2009 comedy Adventureland together, and they will next be seen in American Ultra, which debuts later this year although a release date has not been given yet. Kristen Stewart and Jesse Eisenberg have never worked with Bruce Willis before, and this will also be Bruce Willis' first Woody Allen movie.
Woody Allen will direct from his own screenplay, with the director's longtime collaborators Letty Aronson, Stephen Tenenbaum and Edward Walson producing. No production schedule was given at this time. Woody Allen's next movie, Irrational Man, starring Joaquin Phoenix and Emma Stone, is set for release on July 24 from Sony Pictures Classics.
