Woody Harrelson has joined the cast of Now You See Me for Summit Entertainment and director Louis Leterrier.

The actor will portray Merrit Osbourne, a hypnotist and mentalist who is famous for his mind tricks. He joins the Four Horsemen, a team of elite illusionists who pull off bank robberies during their performances, and give the money away to their audience. Jesse Eisenberg, Mélanie Laurent, Mark Ruffalo, Isla Fisher, and Morgan Freeman are attached to star.

Louis Leterrier is directing Now You See Me from a screenplay by Boaz Yakin and Edward Ricourt. Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol writers André Nemec and Josh Appelbaum recently polished the script.

Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci will produce Now You See Me, with Bobby Cohen executive producing. No production schedule was given.
