Though she currently has no credits on her IMDB page at this time, Lana Condor's first entry will be huge! The virtually unknown actress has landed a prime role in X-Men: Apocalypse. She will play one of the youngest team members to ever fight alongside Professor Xavier and his school of extraordinary students. That's right, Lana Condor is taking on the role of Jubilation Lee, AKA Jubilee.

While X-Men: Apocalypse is confirmed to take place in the 80s, Jubilee didn't become popular in the comic books until the early 1990s, often playing sidekick to Wolverine. She was first introduced in Uncanny X-Men #244, which was published in 1989. Created by iconic X-men writer Chris Claremont and artist Marc Silvestri, the character's mutation allows her to create and control energy plasmodia that are similar to fireworks. The actress has appeared in the movies before, first in 2000's X-Men played by Katrina Florence and then in 2003's X2: X-Men United and 2006's X-Men: The Last Stand played by Kea Wong. She is expected to have a larger role in the story this time out, as her backstory has never fully been explored on screen, serving primarily as a background character.

Other X-Men: Apocalypse newcomers include Oscar Isaac as the title villain, Alexandra Shipp as young Storm, Sophie Turner as young Jean Grey, Tye Sheridan as young Cyclops and Kodi Smit-McPhee as young Nightcrawler. As the film is said to be the conclusion of the trilogy that started with X-Men: First Class and continued in X-Men: Days of Future Past, it is expected, yet not confirmed, that cast members James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Rose Byrne, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult and Evan Peters will all return to reprise their roles. Hugh Jackman's Wolverine, Halle Berry's old Storm and Channing Tatum's Gambit are expected to cameo.
