Yesterday, 20th Century Fox debuted 10 new character posters for the eagerly-awaited X-Men: Apocalypse, featuring almost all of the main characters. Two characters were notably missing from yesterday's poster lineup, Oscar Isaac's Apocalypse and Ben Hardy's Archangel. Thankfully, 20th Century Fox rectified these omissions by releasing new characters posters today featuring these mutants.

British actor Ben Hardy will actually make his feature film debut as Archangel, after starring in the hit U.K. series EastEnders from 2013 to 2015. He will play one of the Four Horsemen alongside Michael Fassbender's Magneto, Olivia Munn's Psylocke and Alexandra Shipp's Storm. Oscar Isaac, on the other hand, is coming off a banner year in 2015, where he starred in the critically-acclaimed Ex Machina and the beloved blockbuster Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Following the critically acclaimed global smash hit X-Men: Days of Future Past, director Bryan Singer returns with X-Men: Apocalypse. Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshipped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel's X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign.

As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction. Reprising their roles from X-Men: First Class and X-Men: Days of Future Past are Nicholas Hoult (Beast), Rose Byrne (Moira McTaggert), Evan Peters (Quicksilver). New cast members include Oscar Isaac as the villainous Apocalypse, Olivia Munn as Psylocke, Sophie Turner as Jean Grey, Alexandra Shipp as Storm, Tye Sheridan as Cyclops and Kodi Smit-McPhee as Nightcrawler.

20th Century Fox has slated X-Men: Apocalypse for release on May 27, 2016, putting it up against yet another sequel, Disney's Alice Through the Looking Glass, which also got a new trailer today. This latest X-Men movie will close out the prequel trilogy that includes X-Men: First Class and X-Men: Days of Future Past. It takes place in the 1980s, playing on the fears of nuclear annihilation and the ideas and ideology that was in play during the decade, so don't be surprised if there's a cameo from President Ronald Reagan, especially considering X-Men: Days of Future Past featured Mark Camacho as President Richard Nixon. Check out the latest X-Men: Apocalypse posters below, and stay tuned for more as we get closer to this superhero sequel's release next month.
