Director Bryan Singer took to his Instagram page today to share another photo from the set of X-Men: Apocalypse. While the photo itself doesn't reveal anything of note, the director mentioned that they are shooting at "Caliban's place of business" on the Montreal set. This is the first time we've heard any mention of Caliban, and we have no clue who is playing this character yet, but now we know he will at least be referenced in the X-Men: Apocalypse plot.

In the comic books, Caliban is a mutant who has the ability to sense other mutants within a 25 mile radius. Caliban is a Morlock who was once a member of X-Force and X-Factor, along with serving as the "hellhound" for Apocalypse (Oscar Isaac) himself. He officially replaced Archangel as the Horsemen "Death," in the comics, so we'll have to wait and see if this happens in X-Men: Apocalypse, since Ben Hardy is playing Archangel in the movie.

It's possible that Caliban could have an integral part in the story, with Apocalypse using this mutant's abilities to sniff out the X-Men trying to stop him. But, since this is the first we're hearing about this character, who, to our knowledge, has not been cast yet, it's also possible that he will only have a minor presence in X-Men: Apocalypse. While we wait for more details about Caliban, check out the latest photo from the X-Men: Apocalypse set below.
