For Olivia Munn, playing Psylocke in X-Men: Apocalypse was one of the best moments of 2015. As the actress looks towards a new year, she has shared a behind-the-scenes photo of her work in this upcoming 20th Century Fox Marvel adventure. Thanks to Instagram, we get to see the Mutant, who will be introduced for the first time on the big screen this summer, standing amongst the wreckage of overturned cars. Here's what the actress had to say for herself.

"To say hello to 2016, I'm gonna say GOODBYE TO 2015 with my Top 5 Favorite Memories of 2015 (that I can think of)... #4 Getting to play #Psylocke in #xmenapocalypse. She's a telekinetic telepath who chooses to kill with a sword because she wants to do it up close and intimate and killing from afar just seems too easy and no fun."

In terms of superhero movies, 2016 is going to be gigantic. And leading the charge is 3 blockbusters that feature almost every iconic character from Marvel and DC. In March, we'll get Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice from Warner Bros., and in May we'll get Captain America: Civil War from Marvel and Disney. Pulling up the rear is X-Men: Apocalypse, which isn't expected to be as big as the other two juggernauts, but should bring the currently standing X-Men franchise to a close with a proper send-off. And one aspect fans are certainly looking forward to is Olivia Munn's turn as Pyslocke. About the character, the actress describes her as such.

"I've got like my thigh-highs and a halter, but the thing about that, and that was important, is that it doesn't matter what I'm wearing as long as we're all aware of who she is. She's very strong and she's very lethal and she's very powerful, and it doesn't really matter what she's wearing as long as you have that strength and that presence."

Discovered working behind the Iron Curtain in the 80s, Olivia Munn's Pyslocke serves as one of the title villain's Four Horsemen. She will join Apocalype in destroying Charles Xavier, and all he has stood for these past couple of decades. Riding alongside her will be Archangel, Storm and Magneto when the movie hits in late May.

Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshiped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel's X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.
