Director Bryan Singer is never one to shy away from social media during the production of his movies, since he frequently sends out photos from the set. With shooting currently under way on the filmmaker's latest project, X-Men: Apocalypse, the director has sent out yet another photo today, although this one is much more mysterious than previous reveals. None of the actors in this photo are readily identifiable, but they are all dressed in military attire, with many of them brandishing wooden bows and arrows. It's possible that these men are all trying to track down Magneto (Michael Fassbender), and by using these archaic weapons with no metal, there is no way the villain will be able to manipulate these devices. Or perhaps, they are from the past. Also, what's with the young boy in their presence? Is this Apocalypse, and is he being used for forces of evil?

The photo comes with the equally-cryptic caption "The past catches up," although we don't know what this means quite yet. There's very little we know about the story, and it isn't known when this scene may take place, or how important it may be in the grand scheme of things. The director has been rather straight-forward with the photos he's posted so far, so perhaps the mysterious nature of this photo hints at a time travel element held over from the previous movie.

X-Men: Apocalypse stars Oscar Isaac (Apocalypse), James McAvoy (Professor Xavier), Michael Fassbender (Magneto), Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), Nicholas Hoult (Beast), Lana Condor (Jubilee), Sophie Turner (Jean Grey), Tye Sheridan (Cyclops), Alexandra Shipp (Storm), Kodi Smit-McPhee (Nightcrawler), Evan Peters (Quicksilver), Olivia Munn (Psylocke), Rose Byrne (Moira McTaggert) and Lucas Till. Hopefully we'll learn more about this mysterious photo, but, for now, check it out below. Do you have any theories about what it could mean?
