As production continues in Montreal on the highly-anticipated X-Men: Apocalypse, director Bryan Singer has shared on Instagram two new videos and a photo from the set. The photo shows the filmmaker teaching Sophie Turner (Jean Grey) how to properly hold a bow and arrow, with the filmmaker posting video playback from this archery lesson just minutes later. He also posted a second video of a stop motion base, mounted on a gimbal that shakes the whole set.

Naturally, we have no idea why Jean Grey is learning archery, or what will be shot on this shaky stop motion set. The filmmaker has posted numerous photos and set videos ever since principal photography began in Montreal. However, there is still very little we know about the actual story, except that it is set in 1983 and it will close out the X-Men trilogy that started with 2011's X-Men: First Class and continued with last year's X-Men: Days of Future Past.

The ensemble cast includes Oscar Isaac (Apocalypse), James McAvoy (Professor X), Michael Fassbender (Magneto), Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), Nicholas Hoult (Beast), Lana Condor (Jubilee), Tye Sheridan (Cyclops), Alexandra Shipp (Storm), Kodi Smit-McPhee, Evan Peters (Quicksilver), Olivia Munn (Psylocke) and Rose Byrne (Moira McTaggert). It isn't known how much shooting is left in Montreal, but 20th Century Fox has issued a May 27, 2016 release date. Take a look at the latest videos and photo from the X-Men: Apocalypse set, and stay tuned for more as filming continues.
