Because 20th Century Fox debuted the first X-Men: Apocalypse teaser trailer during Comic-Con last month, it's easy to forget that the franchise sequel is still shooting in Toronto. Director Bryan Singer will continue to work throughout the rest of August in bringing this Mutant adventure together. And while he's most notorious for showing off video and photos from his set, today, we get a sneak peek behind the scenes courtesy of one of the stars.

Olivia Munn is Psylocke in X-Men: Apocalypse. And if we're to judge from this latest set video, she is a real ass-kicker. The actress displays her freestyle kickboxing skills, going at it hard enough to scare any blue Mutant away from messing with her. She is one of the new additions to the franchise, and will play an important role in the storyline.

X-Men: Apocalypse's title villain played by Oscar Isaac is awakened from his Egyptian tomb, and soon sets out to destroy the world. Known as the world's first Mutant, the evil entity's first task is putting together his iconic Four Horsemen. Apocalypse discovers the beautiful Psylocke working behind the Iron Curtain, where she serves the mutant-broker Caliban. It doesn't take a lot of convincing to get the young female Mutant to join his side as a Horsemen. The other recruits include Magneto, Storm and Angel, who will transform into Archangel before Apocalypse can be stopped.

As Apocalypse sets out on his mission, Raven is on her own, helping to rescue stray or oppressed mutants, including the teleporting Nightcrawler, who may or may not be her son. While she knows nothing about Apocalypse, she hears something devastating has happened to Erik, and sets out to find him. This sparks a reunion between her and Charles Xavier, who is no longer schooling young mutants in the way of battle, but instead, is using his resources to teach Mutants how to behave in public and hold down a real job. Together, Raven, Charles and his new team of mutants set out to defeat Apocalypse.

In X-Men: Apocalypse, Olivia Munn's Psylocke will also be skilled at using her twin swords. Matched with the fighting technique we see in this new video, she'll surely be hard to beat when a young Cyclops, Jean Grey and Jubilee set out to stop her reign of terror. The actress is taking her physically role very seriously, which will help give this latest X-Men sequel some of the best action-sequences we've seen yet. Check it out as the lady goes to work. Do you love this casting choice for Psylocke? Or did you have someone better in mind?
