With X-Men: Days of Future Past's release less than a month away, 20th Century Fox has released a new character video that offers new insight into Hugh Jackman's Wolverine character. We see new footage of this mutant interacting with both versions of Charles Xavier (James McAvoy and Patrick Stewart) as Wolverine travels back in time to help prevent a war from starting which could significantly alter the future. In addition, USA Today has released two new photos featuring James McAvoy and Patrick Stewart, and you can read on for new information about director Bryan Singer's mutant adventure, in theaters May 23.

James McAvoy offered new details about his Charles Xavier character in X-Men: Days of Future Past, where he spoke about how he tries to ease other mutant's pain.

"He's constantly trying to connect and reach out and ease other people's pain."

The actor also shared details about a scene he shared with the present-day version of Professor X, Patrick Stewart.

"He sort of gives me a talking-to, tells me to get my (stuff) together."

While both actors are both playing different versions of the same characters, James McAvoy spoke about the differences in both characters.

"When you have our faces close together and you have us going literally nose-to-nose, the interesting thing is to see how far apart these men actually are."
