20th Century Fox has set a January start date on the X-Men First Class sequel 20th Century Fox has announced that they will begin shooting their X-Men: First Class Sequel in January.

Tensions between the studios ran high last month as Fox was considering filming the sequel in the fall with actress Jennifer Lawrence, potentially overlapping Lionsgate's plans for The Hunger Games sequel Catching Fire.

The actress stars in both sequels, reprising her role of Mystique in the X-Men: First Class Sequel and taking on a key role in Catching Fire.

X-Men: Days of Future Past was released May 23rd, 2014.
