@leng-tche - Whatever dude, agree to disagree. I like the black, you like the color...it's merely a matter of personal preference.

But you would have to be borderline brain-dead to believe that you are no more camouflaged in a black suit, in ANY time of day, than you are in a bright yellow and blue suit.... and that applies to virtually every terrain. If there is really no difference then why do hunters wear bright orange vests instead of a solid black one???? Last time I checked, that didn't apply to hunters who JUST hunt at night. Come on man, think.......bright colors stand out. Everyone knows this.

But this "argument is going nowhere, so I'm officially done talking about their friggin suit colors.

      Now lets let this go.

@k-man, what are you talking about? The mask is the best part! It even makes his ambiguously gay son look awesome.

The thing I don't like about the black suits is they're too plain. They bore the bejesus out of me. As for the practicality of suits color applying to camouflage, that only makes sense during the night, otherwise they're just as visible during the day.

          @leng-tche - No......No I dont. Not for the big screen, I dont.

Look, I dont mind the blue and yellow outfits in this film and I think its cool that they are staying true to the original source material. It fits for the "old school" look of the 60's that they are going for. However, I personally like the black costumes MUCH better and I'm glad thats the direction they went with the "current" X-Men. They needed to be different in this one in order to separate themselves from the original trilogy.

However, some things work on screen and others dont. I just dont think wolverine's costume (the brown/black/yellow outfit) would work on screen, especially with the mask.

@theriddler3412 - That's why we pretend that film doesn't exist.

I don't get it, at the beginning of xmen 3(which is the worst xmen movie), Charles and Eric are old and are still friends when they are visiting Jean Grey

@k-man, what you don't have any love for the old school Wolverine?

@K-Man, f*ck the black suits. They look like S&M bondage attire. Stick with the tradition, thats what I say. Hopefully they bring back Wolverines yellow/black/brown suit. That would be bad ass.

@k-man the yellow and blue costumes fit with the era of the movie, the 1960's, so they are able to pay homage to the comics. As for snipers, snipers will spot you even in black.

"Yeah. Black Leather sucks and isn't practical for battle. You'd overheat and be defeated by heat stroke before your enemy defeats you."

@jptheredskull - Oh, yeah, right...... and a bright Yellow and Blue spandex outfit would be JUST what you need when you're trying to remain unseen and covert-like.

I'd rather be overheating as opposed to visible 950 yards out........hell, a sniper wouldn't even have to use a friggin scope.

Besides, The Black suits are waaaayyyyyy cooler looking.

Can't wait for this! I hope it lives up to the hype.

@jptheredskull I agree 100% and i try to look at it as one of the many alternate realities that the X Men and especially Excalibur have waded thru. As long as the heart and soul remains intact and they do the characters justice...i am pretty open minded about how they handle the continuity with the characters.

@skywise In my opinion, since it's a movie universe and not the comics universe, it okay for the continuity to change. If one can understand and accept that about cbms, they'll enjoy a whole lot more of them and be able to judge them on quality not accuracy.
